Dong Né — Restaurant in Paris

Just saw them on google maps and wanted to try bingsu. They do have interesting menus. We were greeted with "I don't speak English" which was the lamest joke I've ever heard. Obviously he can. We just wanted to try some food here and there because we were not big eaters and don't wanna waste leftovers. The set menu looks interesting, but it's just strictly for 1 person only (No sharing!) Okay If that's the policy. We were told to order 1 meal per person. He's quite too pushy and seems annoyed too. Which annoyed me as well. 😂 I think they're not fond of tourists. The chicken is okay some were hard. Tteokbokki serving is 14€? Wow I think that's quite a lot for something like streetfood. It was good but 10€ would be reasonable. That's just prolly 2-3€ in korea 😂 7€ in Germany, but 14€ in Paris!? But when I saw all the staff I understood why. Other food we ordered is price reasonable. Curious about this place as there's always a small line whenever I pass by. We got seated right away during a late 2 pm lunch. It's Korean street food style rather than typical Korean fare like soups.

We did like the combos as we were able to share a variety of dishes between the both of us. The tastes of the dishes were ok, but not spectacular. The fried chicken was dry, the gimpap beef was dry and bland, the tteokbogi was fine... more on the sweet side than overly spicy (good for people like me who can't take too spicy), the oden soup base was good but only one skewer of oden provided and it was a bit limo and not especially tasty. We enjoyed the sesame tiramisu which we saw the girl making.

Craving for Korean food! Good thing we saw this olace. We arrived around 2110H and we were informed by our server that the last order will be taken at 2130H. So we ordered a SET meal (chicken, bibimbap and kimbap) plus fishcake. Orders were taken and.m noted. Food came (chicken and fish cake). My wife and I enjoyed the first two food arrived thinking we still have two more. Around 2140H, I noticed that the other two food is not coming. When we asked for our bill, no one not even the server INFORMED us that they will not serve the two other foods. A bit disappointing as there's NO COURTESY beforehand that only limited food will be served since it's nearly closing time.
