I was due to meet a friend near the metro and we decided to stop into the Au Dernier Metro for a quick beer before pushing off to find food. To our surprise, the bar/restaurant was very cozy and had a nice ambiance and friendly bar staff.

Before going further, it should be noted that this place while having a bar, is more of a restaurant and the tables which are inside are reserved for those who are eating. If you're going simply for a drink you have to line up against the bar or sit outside in the smoking section. Anyway, this is notable simply because the place is not big and when it gets busy, you will find it difficult to first find a place at the bar and second to enjoy your beverage without being bumped into.

On the evening we visited, we started first with a drink and then moved on to a table to order food. I can say that despite the small size of the dining area, the menu itself is extensive. They have a who list of the usual french dishes as well as a menu of the day which I cannot confirm whether it changes frequently. However even the menu of the day is extensive in and of itself with at least 20 choices.

Service was great with the waiters being seasoned professionals with a good knowledge of the food - my guess is they've tasted most of it. The food itself was again surprising based on our expectations. Meats were expertly cooked, sauces were bright and tasty and the vegetables cooked perfectly. Even the bread, which I judge for each place I visit was a baguette tradition with those nice airy pockets and crunch crust.

I can definitely recommend this little restaurant and even...

Found this tiny gem on yelp. As an American who just arrived at her hotel and was starving, I figured I'd yelp something for a quick meal then head over to the Eiffel Tower. Good reviews for this place and they offered an English menu so I rolled the dice and tried this spot and I'm so glad I did. This is a pub that serves food, not really a restaurant. It's tiny and cozy and the antique tin signs on the wall instantly comforted me for some reason. Our waiter/bartender was so sweet. Good English. He told us the specials and without looking at the menu once my friend said she'd try the fish and I ordered the chicken. Less than 10 minutes later what arrived looked like something out of a higher end restaurant. I cannot speak for the fish but I'll tell you my friend's plate was completely empty by the end of our meal. Now the chicken. Wow. So moist and flavorful. I could cut it with a fork! I want to go back to Paris again just to eat here again and try something new. The coffee was...

We came to this restaurant on the last night of our trip. We made a reservation online through uniiti, but when we got there, the waiter said he has no tables. I showed him the reservation and he said he’s not taking those, only by phone.

Someone left at the same time and he gave us that table. From that point on, he was extremely rude and unprofessional, screaming at us when he didn’t understands the order and told us in a rude manner that we should not say anything but the name of the dish we want because it’s too confusing for him.

We ordered a started and a main dish, and he brought them at the same time, even though you could clearly see there was not enough space on the table for everything. One of us got the wrong order. After we asked for the bill, we had to wait about 10 minutes for the check to come.

Overall, the food was decent but the service was awful. We finished our...

The staff were really friendly and the food was absolutely delicious, the duck hearts deglazed with balsamic was my favourite entrée out of the 3 with escargots being second and the pig ears, but they were all good just that the hearts were my favourite. And for a mammoth of a beef steak with fries for 64€, absolute bang for your buck. And the basque cake was to die for imo. I really liked the food and enjoyed it but the only thing that put me off was the lighting, it just made my eyes hurt. But the food was phenomenal. Definitely would come back

I told the waitress it was the best food in my life, and even when we both laugh, i was not kidding. In Peru (where i'm from) they told us the peruvian food is the best in the world, nothing more far from reality. The duck chest meat with potatoes and garlic pieces + the table of ham, prosciutto and 2 paté's was literaly touching the heaven with my mouth. I don't remember the wine, but it was a 25-30€ wine pretty correcto. Before trying a 300€ "Michelin" you should try this place.
