‼️MOST HONEST REVIEW YOU'LL SEE FROM THIS PLACE‼️ Just so you know, I still can't shake the bad treatment we received. Call me bitter, but here I am, writing my most honest review.
First of all, we were a small group that came to dine because the restaurant seemed to have a nice atmosphere that we thought we'd enjoy. What a surprise we had!
As soon as we arrived, they asked all of us to leave a 5-star review. At first, I went along with it because I thought, “What’s the harm in a review?” However, what bothered me was the way they asked for it. According to them, they had done us a favor (yes, they literally said that) by allowing us to eat there since we were a group. Also, I noticed the restaurant had a lot of negative (1-star) reviews, which immediately made me cautious.
Then came the food. I ordered a honey pizza (spoiler: it had as much honey as I have black hair) and a pizza with cheese in the middle. The pizzas looked like they came from the nearest convenience store, and to make things worse, two pizzas were still missing, and the rest of the group had already finished theirs. Where was the organization? Nowhere to be found.
I'm an honest person, and I don’t like to deceive people, so I decided to update my review and share the whole story about the pressure they put on us and the incompetence of the staff. The waitress was nice, though, even though she was following her superior's aggressive orders.
Later, the waitress came over and said, "One person from this group left a negative review." Well, what did you expect? Our experience was awful, and people are afraid to tell the truth. They kept pressuring us, and eventually, due to social pressure (they even brought a tablet to show the bad review and started claiming it was written by ChatGPT(istg it wasnt lol)), I changed the review to a 5-star one just to get them off our backs.
The moral of the story is: don’t be fooled. This place may look nice from the outside, but inside, it’s worse than a polar...
Read moreI went with my girlfriend, and we sat down outside along the street. We moved after a few minutes since we were in between 2 tables where they were smoking, and it was very off putting. We then proceeded to ask for tap water, and they gave us a big 6.5€ evian bottle despite everyone else having normal tap water (i think this was due to the language barrier, as it was younger people who didn't speak very good french). We then received our food, my girlfriend's linguine with truffle were quite good, however I ordered a calzone and received what seemed like a normal calzone, but when I cut into it there was no tomato sauce, very little mozzarela (both stated on the menu would be there) and the ham was all clumped on one side. So half the calzone was just pizza dough. When I asked about this, the waiter hesistantly took it back, and I thought I would get a new, correct one. I then proceeded to get the same "calzone" back with the tiniest bit of tomato sauce on top and 2 slices of small mozzarella. I wish I took a photo as it was quite literally a mockery. The food tasted fine ultimately, but the calzone was not a calzone, the service was abysmal and they brought us items we didn't order (that we only found out about at the end despite me asking when it arrived if its tap water). To top it off, they came to ask us as soon as we finished eating if we want the check or dessert, we said we wanted to sit for a little longer (the place was relatively empty), and then when they came again we said fine, to get us the bill. Then, we eaited for 15 minutes to get the bill, and we didn't get it until I went inside to ask again. All in all, terrible attitude, service, and definitely not Italian food! Please, avoid. (And this review was written after 2 fantastic 5* reviews at other...
