I don't understand how this restaurant can have such a good rating. The worst restaurant we've ever visited. We came at around 7.00 pm (new year eve), were rudely entertained by a Chinese lady who can speak Malay language. When we asked about her recommendations, she said she was busy and ready to cook, so did not have time to talk (something like that). Then she left us!

We patiently waited for another server to come. After our orders were served, we were so surprised. Coming from Southeast Asia (Malaysia), we did not expect the presentation of the foods were extremely bad and poor. The taste was so unpalatable. It is such a shame since we noticed many visitors from different countries visited this place and they might have thought that this restaurant serves authentic and proper meals that represent Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and Malaysia.

One family next to our table (from Singapore) had similar experience with us. They also did not expect the service of this restaurant could be that bad. After several minutes, the waiter came and took our plates from the table (we had have not finished our meal) and hint us to leave since there were other customers waiting! That was so absurd! (we reserved one table at this dreadful restaurant 3-4 weeks in advance, originally at 9.00 pm)

The price was so expensive and unreasonable considering the portion, service and taste. The same blunt/arrogant lady was the cashier at that time and she told us wrong amount to pay. I returned and asked for our extra money to be refunded, yes she did but the way she returned it was so unacceptable. She rudely left it on the table's counter without saying a single word, not even looked at me or had any feeling of guilt.

Please don't don't don't contribute anything to this...

After reading the good reviews we walked past a few Chinese restaurants to get to this one. We eat Chinese food all the time. Normally in Asian restaurants you order one dish per person but we were hungry so we ordered three dishes for the two of us. When they came it was a complete joke. The beef and peppers plate was Tiny as was the barbecue duck but the vegetable was only enough for 4 Bites at the most. On top of that we got charged $4 for each tiny bowl of white rice that is free in every Chinese restaurant that we go to. Two nights ago we went to a different Chinese restaurant in Paris and it was wonderful with no charge for bowls of rice. We talked to the owner and he laughed at us and told us that's the way he's been doing it for three years and that's the way he's going to keep doing it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful but the service and their food were nearly non-existent. I feel we were lucky they didn't charge us for our water. If you want a nice restaurant with tiny plates of food this is the place for you, it however was not to...

This place is warm and welcoming. From the first step you are greated by family and made to feel like you are entering your home. The decor is authentic, deep, and cohesive. And to top it, there is a fush tank sprawling the ceilings! The menu had photos, and the food we chose came not only true to photo but also true to taste. Simply DELICIOUS. We irdered cold spring rolls, pan fried dumplings, steamed shrimp balls, sizzling beef and pad-thai noodles. The food was cooked to perfection, and the sauces complemented the flavors. The family running the restaurant were very gracious, funny, hospitable, and genuinly kind. Will definitely go back and recommend to a friend. Thank you mother for the menu souvenir. I am grateful for your...

We were Southeast Asian tourists hankering for some Asian food. We were initially very hesitant given the Thai-Chinese concept but we were so glad we decided to eat here! The restaurant has been here since 1984 and is an institution in itself. Very interesting interior. Aunty Lee the lady boss is Malaysian and really lovely and warm. Food was delicious and interestingly it is no pork / and is halal (except for the duck). Sizzling Black Pepper Beef, Sweet and Sour chicken, Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin (Salted fish fried rice) was very enjoyable. Recommend it for a comforting Southeast Asian meal especially if in Champs-Élysées area.

Very cozy restaurant centrally located near interesting sights. The food was amazing! The portions are SMALL! We read the reviews beforehand so we expected small portions, but we were both surprised by how small they actually were. As long as you know this you will likely leave the restaurant satisfied and satiated, although it can result in the meal being more pricey than you might expect (also on the positive side- you can try more dishes than otherwise possible). The service was friendly and the staff who could speak in our native tongue (English) served our table!

The food was amazing! The staff are very friendly. We ate here twice during our stay in Paris. Highly highly recommend, utter perfection! The duck for two was such an experience, you get an entire duck cooked fresh which is shredded in front of you, you eat the skin in pancakes whilst the rest of the duck is cooked in Thai basil, chinese 5 spice sticky sauce, fried rice and noodles - a beautiful banquet! For the added experience, the restaurant has a fish tank in the ceiling.
