Terrible restaurant, it’s only getting a 1 Star as I can’t give it a zero! Avoid at all costs and enjoy one of the many restaurants nearby instead. I arrived with my 2 hungry children (both aged 6) and mother around 7pm. We asked if the children could have dinner and we were given a table. The restaurant was empty, then one other couple arrived. After 15 minutes of the server walking around faffing and ignoring us, we asked to order. We ordered for the children, then he came to us and we explained, we are not eating, we are out for dinner later and this is just for the children. Well, he changed then! No, you must order for 4, I said no, we asked for the children’s dinner, not for us. Now, I understand that restaurants cannot have people just sitting around in seats not ordering, but this restaurant was EMPTY save for one other couple. This miserable man wouldn’t feed two paying hungry children. I was going to order food for my mother and I, just so the children could eat, but my mother said no, do not support this horrible man’s restaurant. I’m glad she did. We got a pizza for them somewhere else instead. Who sends away hungry little children?!...
Read moreI don’t give reviews here in Google but I had to because this was beyond! RUDEST staff I’ve ever encountered!!!!!! He wasn’t the same towards French or white people, but he was very racist towards the Asians in the room!!!!!! We were very kind towards him and even thought he was joking but HE WAS NOT! When we were done eating, he hurriedly took away our plates like he was asking us to leave. He did not do the same to the neighboring table who just ordered a glass of wine! He even told us to “shoo shoo” and to hurry as we were going down the stairs. Crazy! If you’re not happy with your job, leave! Food would’ve been nice but the service was terrible!!!! (The guy smoking in the photo is the one that served us.) What a terrible restaurant to eat in Paris! Ruined our really...
Read moreVisconti's was our favorite restaurant while in Paris. We stayed in the St. Augustin and Madeleine area, and our hotel recommended the place. We went twice and had two different waiters. Both were so nice and really wanted to make our meal special. The food was excellent and portion sizes were good. The waiters suggested items, and I felt they wanted us to experience everything they had and not trying to push up our bill. It is a little pricey, but we felt it was a treat worth paying for. It wasn't crowded and we were able to get seated right away both times. It's not located in a heavy traffic area, but worth seeking out if you're in the area. Highly...
