YOBO — Restaurant in Paris

Took a chance because I was craving bbq and this place was highly rated and in the Asian district, with all the reviews talking about the food and welcome.

I should have known something was off when I stepped in and was the only Asian in this restaurant. It's fine if it's not authentic, but it was just plain bad. You have to pay for banchan, 3€ per person, and it's not free flow. The portions were small but thank god because the food was not good. Please just look at the teokbokki, the teok were mushy, the sauce was...this colour, and I even ordered extra spicy but there's not a hint of pepper.

Our waitress was lovely though and it seems culturally this is what french people prioritise.

Hello there, just try this Korean BBQ with the family, and seriously I can say that’s a reallly good one. The kimchi as a starter give you a spicy kick to prepare you to the main. The beef, the pork, the octopus and the veggies are really fresh. But the most amazing experience during this diner was the marinade. Excellent Korean BBQ! The meat is very nicely marinated, and there is a large choice of meats: beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and lamb. We've also tried the kimchi pancake as a starter and it's delicious!

The ambiance in YOBO is nice and relaxing, perfect for a couple's dinner or amongst a small group of friends. The service is excellent too!
