A big disappointment for someone who adores Italian cuisine !

Decor was amazing, classy, and modern ! Wall mounted plants, confortables couches, spacious seating, and a well ornamented bar ! The staff was unfortunately very lacking for a restaurant of such standing and location (close to the cathedral) ; slow, un-experienced, lacking an obvious training in fine-dining, though they were quite responsive, and hard-working. I asked for a specific whisky, which turned out they didn't have. The waitress swapped it for another one and served me the glass, instead of just telling me they didn't have this brand ! We also had to ask them several times to clear the empty glasses and finished entrées because the table was getting crowded (nothing much on its own, but several small details add up to be finally annoying !) Dishes : I had the carpaccio wish was OK, nothing fancy. My friends did enjoy their entrées also ! I then ordered the Milanese veal which was horrendous (super dry, coating soaked in oil, no flavour whatsoever). The manager kindly suggested that they redo the dish, but I opted for a simple mozzarella salad which was also okay ! Friends had the shrimp risotto which was tasty, and the anchovies pizza was rich and savoury, though the thick dough was clearly undercooked ! A positive note : The Sicilian wine Lumà was fantastic : smooth with a soft texture, and quite a bold taste !

I will be trying it again after some time ; since they had just opened it's difficult to fully appreciate the full potential. In hopes that the quality will be on par with the visual...

Really disappointed with management who disapppeared in order not to deal with an issue. Being in charge of a bar and experience of dealing with public, would had done it differently. Upon ordering the drinks the member of staff accidentally placed a large bottle of sparkling faster than normal hence the bottle shatterd on the table with water and glass all over 4 members of our group with a person a small cut on the finger. Without any apologies they started cleaning the table without caring about what happened to us , and we had to suggest movimg away waiting for it to be sorted. Manager did not even apologise and just said that has happened few times. Arrogance that never mind if your dresses and trousers are wet, it happens! At the end of the night he jus disappeared and when we asked for people serving where he is and we want to discuss our disappointment, was told he has gone and dispose us asking to talk to him was told he is not available. Really disappointed as a proper apology would had made our night nearly perfect but being treated this way thought we have been taken for a ride and this restaurant is too good to deal with people like us who spent €85 each although we were the highest spending group in the restaurant. Arrived to a beautiful restaurant to have a bottle accidentally dropped on the table by the waiter. Glass shards and water flew, several of our party were cut and needed aid and water soaked! Sadly manager dribbled a whispered apology under his breath and then went home early to bed! We were handed the full bill with absolutely nothing compensated and then when we argued this was totally unacceptable, the staff offered an option of pay or the police will be called!!
