The place is beaufiful, amazing views, lovely beautiful restaurants.
The food was decent , but somehow in some instances hit and miss I am afraid, the white asparagus was not very fresh and my friend ordered foie gras and that was not of a good quality. However, the salmon starter was very nice.
The greeting and meeting was very nice and welcoming, however, I am giving 2 star for the service as our waitress was plainly rude and unhelpful to say the least. I have never seen such awful service in any restaurant, let alone fine dinning. All our questions was answered with great iritation and mainly I do not know, constantly, " I do not know" with a lot of irritation in the voice. She could have asked her peers though .... And it is her responsibility to have some basic knowledge on the menu, especially its not extensive. In addition she was abrupt, patronising and when we asked something, she looked at us as some sort of nuisance and actually and very rudely looked away ... People like that should not work in hospitality industry. if they dislike clients or believe they should not be serving ...
Otherwise, all other waiters, not the main one, the ones who came to help out, were nice. Anyway, I would like to thank the management, as its a lovely...
Read more4,3/5 Beautiful classy and spacious restaurant offering a stunning view of the Reims Cathedral ! You're greeted by the manager, who guides you to your table in a vast dining space hovering with waiters. Nice decoration, all glass-panels-walls with a terrace and stylish table sets. An extensive beverage menu with some fine wines and champagne bottles ! I had the foie gras with a homemade brioche and pineapple "jammy" side which was exquisite, the best I've had by far ! I tried the Saint Jacques from a friend, which wasn't to my liking, lacked seasoning and flavours. The coeur d'entrecote with a champagne flavoured creamy sauce was good ; the meat lacked seasoning also but was tender and mellow. Lentilles side dish was savoury though a bit dry. Tried the filet boeuf rossini (chef suggestion, not on the menu) and that was fanatstic ; succulent meat with a perfectly cooked foie gras in top ! Nice classy address in Reims with a spectacular view,...
Read moreNon-french speaking tourists - AVOID AT ALL COSTS We were visiting Reims and were really excited to try this place because of the raving reviews. The servers were really nice to us during the meal. But when we had to come back an hour later realizing we left a piece of personal belonging, the attitude change was mind-blowing. They clearly couldn’t care less about our valuables and came back after 30 seconds of looking around saying they don’t have it, that “it’s not possible”, and repeatedly asked us to go home. We tried time and again to communicate in English/ with translator apps but they cut us off saying they don’t understand. We were two tourists stranded and reaching out for help but they took it in the most indifferent and hostile way possible - did not even bother to say sorry. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant simply because I do not share their language and would recommend...
