La Remise — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

We visited here twice in a row for dinner, unfortunately we only found this gem at the end of our holiday otherwise the count would have been higher!

Lovely place, decor is unique and cosy! Service is super friendly, and we were remembered on our second visit. Food is absolutely fantastic. We had the steak, pasta and pizza over the two visits and all were perfect :) the ice cream is awesome too!

Will definitely be visiting again next time we're in...

Honestly, the worst dining experience i have ever had in France. The steak that 4 of us ordered was so over cooked and an absolutely awful cut. I would have genuinely had rather chewed on my Maxxis Minion DHR after a day of riding super morzine. We ordered a bottle of wine, that did not turn up but found its way onto the bill. Returned many times. Really excellent pizza place. Service is friendly and quick. Few times been unable to get in without a booking, but have also been fitted in last minute, nothing is too much. Good menu and relaxed atmosphere. Only downside is one small loo for everyone. Will continue to return...
