Yacht Restaurant — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

Lunch: The female weitress didn't know the difference between Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir. Also she had super slow service (25 minutes to get drinks even thought we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time). When taking the food order she got the food order wrong and one kid didn't get any food. I would expect better service in a Hilton hotel.

The food was a bit disappointing. The rolls were stale, which was sad. The coconut chicken was overcooked and dry, like jerky. The vegetables were also overcooked. But most of that could have been overcome with good service, unfortunately the service was also lacking. On the good side the atmosphere was fantastic. We had a wonderful meal at Yacht Cafe while staying at the Hilton at Évian. We ordered Asiate grilled meats and seafoods. Our children had Caesar salad and penne bolognese, they are all delicious. The dining setting is beautiful overlooking the lake. The review here doesn’t do its justice. We almost didn’t try this restaurant as some people complained about food quality and services.
