Skyline Bar — Restaurant in Torcy

Me and my partner had a fantastic experience at the go to “Skyline Bar” @ Disneyland. We had a very walm welcome from the host who gave us a run down of the restaurant and what the bar was all about - very in character I actually started to believe I was in Tony Starks bar!

We requested to have a spot at the bar as we were only there for drinks and we were beyond happy with the of course approach. Considering this is where the screen of iron man is I actually thought sitting at the bar would be out of bounds.

As we sat and ran our eyes through the amazing cocktail selection we were blessed with a bartender named Yoenai. Any questions about ingredients in the cocktail book or anything we didn’t understand he explained with professionalism and knowledge (whilst also telling us his English isn’t great - I guarantee you his English is superb!)

What initially started as one drink turned into 4. Yoenai was amazing in the fact he took on board what our first drink order was from the book and then when we asked for suggestions for our second round he actually asked permission if he could come up with something he thinks we would like. We were blown away - my love of pineapple juice and fruity cocktails and my partners love of desserts were delivered to us in a beautiful way. We were in love with both. Myself is not a massive fan of desserts but I could not stop eating / drinking the lemon meringue cocktail he whipped up for my partner. Everything from taste to smell to presentation was beyond impressive.

We were then introduced to another fabulous bartender called Tony who whipped up a basil cocktail for us to try. It was the freshest drink I had ever tasted and made 10 times better with alcohol in it! We were so curious to find out what exactly was in this drink that actually tasted like a detox.. guessing mint but actually being cucumber as one etc and Tony’s patience but professionalism of giving us a personalised run down whilst also taking care of his other duties at the bar and orders was a truly beautiful experience.

Going back to Yoenai and how our original plan was to go in just for one these barmen truly deliver not just a wonderful drink but an experience you can easily put in your long term memory. I had so many questions that Yoenai was happy to answer, he could tell I was curious when he was making drink for other tables and he was happy to take me along for the ride and explain what he was doing / using etc. I even got a chance to shake a cocktail.. which after I found out was just ice haha! To show me properly. I always wondered why my cocktails are not great and it’s amazing how you shake can make so much different and the one thing I remember fully.. more ice more ice more ice!

Finding out in the cocktail shaker was just ice was so funny, it was so nice these bartenders had skill in cocktails but also people skills with banter and humour. It also shows how serious these guys take their job and knew they could not risk a customer delivering a fabulous drink but they entertained us and let us along for the ride at the same time.

A must visit for any Marvel, superhero or comic book lover! This is an incredible hotel situated next to Disney Village.

A stunning statue of Iron man and Captain marvel welcome you in, and the moment you walk through the doors you are surrounded by Marvel memorabilia. It is like walking into an Avengers movie! The hotel is visually stunning, with high ceilings and you really feel like you are in a New York styled area.

The bar itself is then next level. Designed like Tony Stark’s high floor tower, it boats imagery screens, that have Spider-Man flying past, the Quinjet taking off and other marvel characters appearing whilst you are dining.

Depending on what time you arrive, there is even the chance of marvel characters will also visit the bar and greet you!

Drinks wise there are so many on offer, the bar also offers a variety of snack food options to try. The prices are not over expensive, and normal for Disneyland so don’t be put off. If you’re feeling tempted, you can try the signature Dr Strange cocktails These are brought to you in a special box, and you get a special Karma-Taj experience practicing the mystic arts to open the box and reveal your drink! This is only at set timings through, so make sure if you want to do this that you check beforehand. It is only 5 euros extra to do this than a normal cocktail, and if there is a group of you this will only be needed once!

Overall a great visit, the staff are all friendly and accommodating, the bar is child friendly and the drinks were all served quickly and tasted delicious. You do not need to book a table, you can simply walk in.

We would highly recommend a visit and cannot wait to return on our next trip to...
