I had high hopes walking into this place—an elegant exterior, glowing reviews, and the kind of menu that suggests someone in the kitchen once cared deeply about food. Unfortunately, all of that crumbled the moment I stepped inside. What followed was an evening of slow, grinding disillusionment, punctuated by bland dishes, disinterested service, and a soundscape more fitting for a daycare center in meltdown mode.
Let’s start with the atmosphere. Imagine trying to enjoy dinner while the shrieks of overtired children echo off every hard surface. Kids were literally climbing the decorative iron gates like zoo animals while the staff looked on with dead-eyed indifference. Any attempt at conversation was a shouting match over the cacophony of clattering cutlery, wailing toddlers, and what I can only describe as the soundtrack to culinary despair.
Service was equally uninspiring—slow, inattentive, and somehow both rushed and unbothered at once. Our server seemed perpetually confused, forgetting half of what we ordered and delivering the other half cold or incorrect. At one point, we waited over 25 minutes for water refills. When we finally did get our entrees, it felt like a reward for enduring the previous hour of chaos.
The food? A masterclass in mediocrity. Lukewarm pasta drowning in sauce that tasted like it came from a jar, a steak cooked with the finesse of a microwave dinner. I kept waiting for things to turn around—hoping each course, each interaction might redeem the last—but the evening just spiraled deeper into...
Read moreVery very mediocre. Never come here if you plan to eat à la carte and pay the full price. We had a three course dinner coupon for €37,50 as part of our Disney trip, but even this was way too expensive for the quality of the food that was served. The food is of supermarket quality, and it tasted like all dishes were ready-made and just heated up in the microwave. We received some bread as appetizer but this tasted stale and chewy. As started we had the 'burrata'. Instead of receiving burrata we received something closer to basic mozzarella, and the accompanying vegetables were cold as if they just came out of the fridge. The main course (chicked wrapped in ham) was the worst of the three courses: the chicked was dry and tasteless. Worse then if you cook some chicken breast at home. As desert we had the cannolo. The cannolo clearly came out of the freezer, since the pastry had lost all its crispyness, but the filling tasted as it should. What saved the meal from being 1* was the service and the general experience. Our server was very friendly, professional and he happily accepted some of our requests. I feel bad for him having to serve such bad food, because he clearly enjoyed and was good at his job. It is a real pity that the Disneyland Paris restaurants serve such low quality food, especially given the insane prices they ask. IF we come back to DLP, we will be eating outside of the park or just go to...
Read moreThe restaurant is clean, bright, and modern, setting good expectations for the dinner meal. My partner and I opted for the fixed price menu (€55 per person) and the small glass of wine with each course (€20 per person). For starters we had the minestrone soup and the barata. We both had the Chicken Saltimbocca with polenta. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the canoli. A day later, my impression of the meal and the service is disappointment. The mains were not hot, overly salty and boring. The desserts were unmemorable. The service was poor (had to ask 3 times for a glass of water, bread service was taken away without asking if we were finished) and appeared confused. I did not go in expecting to be blown away, but I did expect to have a quality experience with more than diner quality food. After paying the €150 bill, both my partner and I left feeling...
