Absolutely appalling experience. We wanted to have a drink after Halloween party in Disney and went to this bar. After 15m waiting at the counter trying to get someone’s attention, when I asked for a Mojito to one of the staff members, yes, actually someone working behind the counter, he said he didn’t do cocktails so I had to ask someone else. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. So I tried again to get someone else’s attention, hoping that this time around I would get someone that knows how to do a cocktail. There was a guy that kept serving people next to me that were getting to the counter after me. It didn’t happen once or twice, but more than 3 times, regardless of my constant attempts to get him to finally serve me. After 20m of this silliness, I decided that the cocktails probably wouldn’t worth that much money (cause it’s pricey) and it wouldn’t worth the risk of getting salmonella or something like that. Ever heard of the risks of consuming lemon or lime that’s been cut sitting, uncovered on a container The all night? Look it up. Not only this was happening in that bar, but also staff was being highly unhygienic, handling ice and like and lemon without gloves and probably without washing their hands the all night. They said, it’s up to you to try it or not. I know I won’t be coming back and make sure I’ll tell me friends not to...
Read moreI have to say, having had such a lovely day it was really disappointing to be served by someone as rude and with such poor customer service skill. Abdoulay was rude, we entered through the wrong door (by mistake) and he told us off! Like proper told us off. He could speak Spanish so that was great because most people in my party spoke Spanish, apart from my brother in law who’s English and when he tried to order a beer, Abdoulay belittled him for not being able to speak Spanish or French. After waiting over 15 min for our drinks my wife went inside to tell him we had decided to leave as our dinner reservation was shortly after and he shouted, at the top of his voice, saying bc it was ready, my wife decided to sit down and take the drinks since l, after all, they were served. He then told us off at the table again and when my sister in law tried to pay he said, in a very rude manner, COME WITH ME…I then told him he needed more manners to deal with customers and he started asking me not to be mean to him! Outrageous! Furthermore, he started talking to the table next to us telling them all about it, in a loud manner… anyway, needless to say we won’t be going back there and he’s a shame to his bar as he doesn’t show the values everyone else seem...
Read moreIt’s strange to be so close to Paris, a cosmopolitan hot bed of culture but to have a menu featuring such a tiny and bland vegetarian choice. Never mind vegan! The charismatic waiter was clearly on a mission to garner the biggest tips possible. He didn’t offer me a menu but instead asked what food I enjoyed, I told him I was a vegetarian and he offered one choice - “I will ask the chef to make for you a sandwich but remove the meat. You may have chips, would you like some sauce?” This was my sole option. A ham sandwich sans ham. “Oh. Is that it? Ok”. The sandwich was on a slightly stale baguette and featured one slice of cheese and a sorry smattering of iceberg lettuce with browned edges. No other salad. No dressing. The chips seemed to have been cooked 20 minutes previously but there was an attempt to hide this by covering them in a gloopy orange sauce with a snotty consistency. Clearly a restaurant in Disney village does not need to generate return custom and loyalty as many visitors will only be there once but the food was poor quality, synthetic, overpriced and...
