The Earl of Sandwich in the Disney Village at Disneyland Paris offers a refreshing alternative to the often overpriced and mediocre quality food in the theme parks. This system catering chain surprises positively with its quality and value for money. Located at the entrance to Disney Village, opposite Café Mickey, the restaurant has a charming ambience reminiscent of a British library. The two-storey interior offers ample space and a beautiful view of Lake Disney. At the heart of the menu are the hot sandwiches, which are freshly prepared and served perfectly toasted. The selection is varied and ranges from classic variations to creative combinations. The “Earl's Club” and the seasonal “Holiday Turkey Sandwich” are particularly recommended. The sandwiches are always fresh, the fillings generous and the sauces flavorful. In addition to sandwiches, Earl of Sandwich also offers salads, wraps and desserts. The breakfast offer until 11 a.m. is a good option for a quick start to the day in the park. The ordering process is efficiently organized, with clear instructions and a buzzer system that minimizes wait times. Prices are surprisingly moderate by Disney standards, making Earl of Sandwich a popular option for budget-conscious visitors. Overall, Earl of Sandwich at Disney Village offers a solid and tasty alternative to the often overpriced park restaurants. It's a reliable choice for a quick, yet quality meal at a fair price - a welcome surprise in the often overpriced Disney...
Read moreStay away from the red hat Manager Matteo. The food is incredible, the sandwiches and salads are super yummy. I ordered a Cob Salad and noticed the bacon was missing as soon as I started eating. Got up and told a nice lady from the restaurant that I didn’t get any bacon and she told me to wait a minute, that they would bring it from the kitchen. 2min after I had the manager coming in my direction asking “What is the problem?”. I said the bacon was missing and that I had already told his colleague. He picked my fork up and started digging into the salad, trying to find the bacon pieces. I asked him “I’m sorry but you don’t trust me and have to check it?”. He said “ I don’t take anything for granted.” And turned it back and went to kitchen to bring the missing bacon 🥓. As soon as he arrived my husband told me that it can’t be normal to have this attitude, that he should have just brought the bacon and shouldn’t have picked up my fork to inspect my salad. He ironically said “What should have I done instead? Look for the bacon with my hands?” And laughed. We were just there to enjoy the Sun and have a snack and it ruined our experience. If I was looking for a comic show, I wouldn’t have gone to a stand up show. Matteo, if you’re reading this, it’s because of you people think French are not polite....
Read moreGreat service, but... If you've never been to an Earl of Sandwich (EoS) before you'll likely just be a little overwhelmed by the food and a bit disappointed by the inflated prices. If you've been to an EoS in the USA, especially Anaheim (Downtown Disney), you'll be pretty unhappy, as we were. They didn't have the holiday turkey, which I thought was a signature sandwich for these guys. That's OK though, I ordered a BBQ Hawaiian instead. Not great. Way too much BBQ sauce at one end and almost none at the other, plus the token pieces of skinny pineapple were nice, but twice as much would've made it close to a basic Hawaiian anything. Then there's the salad. We ordered the Thai salad, expecting the usual high quality salad in a good sized plastic bowl. We definitely did not get that. The half filled cardboard container had a very lackluster Thai-ish salad with minimal meat and two small two-leaf 'sprigs' of coriander. The image in menu of a generous, tasty looking coriander sprinkled salad was not close to being accurate.
We would never go back and would encourage you to stop at one of the many other places en route instead, even McD's (seriously!). A really poor effort from a (normally)...
