The Steakhouse — Restaurant in Torcy

If I could i would have give it 0 stars. This is THE worst restaurant I have ever been to. It was very VERY noisy and loud. Of course that is something you can expect in a Disney restaurant but this was Just something else. the food was DISGUSTINGGG. The chicken in my ceaser salad was sooooo dry, but Alright. Then the maincourse came. I ordered a steak, mind you this place is called ‘STEAK HOUSE’ the steak was SOOO chewy i just couldt eat it. It tasted soooo cheap and it tasted like a left over piece from the meat. I tried like 3 bites but is just couldn’t chew it. The peper sauce was litteraly water wit a salty taste. The Fries were good but that’s just all. My boyfriend had the spareribs, there was just so much fat around the sparebis, i also didnt finish it. It came with a stuffed patato, the patato was barely coocked. He didnt finish anything. The desserts tasted like cleaning spray, it was so disgusting. The custard i had was so watery, it tasted like melted vannile ice Cream. At last the service was so bad, there is SO much staff walking around in that restaurant, so unnecasery. The be walking around like there sooooo busy but they are doing NOTHING. When we finished our maincourse (not finished but just done eating) we clearly Showed them by already cleaning up the plates and our forkes all together, but the staff walked by like 40 times, LOOKED at our table and just walked further. And then they just walked to the other Side of the restauranr and came back???? SO WEIRD. It was so expensive, Which is fine Cause you know that is Just what it is at disney, but the fact that we payed 104 euro’s for THIS with 1 drink per person is INSANE. How there they call thereselves a STEAK HOUSE, that is INsane!!!! The staff dropped everything on the floor, an accident can always happen but this was Just next level. When we payed the bill I stood up to put on my jacket (normal right) and I stood so close to my table and i took barely any space, while is was putting on my jacket a server came and RAN beside my like there was a fire, he acted like I was the problem and like a took a lot of space, i was JUST PUTTING ON MY JACKET??? and of course he ran to the other Side of the restaurant to do litterlay nothing. For 98€ we both chose the Chicago Set Menu. For the price we paid I did not expect it to be so bad in terms of quality of food and service. We both ordered the same Starters and Entrée but different Desserts - Beef Carpaccio with Pesto Sauce and Parmesan, Angus Skirt Steak, Vanilla Cream Dessert and Chocolate Fudge Cake.

The main course came out first and very quickly followed by the starters five minutes later. The tiny strip of steak did not look appetising at all and was loaded with way too much rock salt. As we were eating, the waiter and waitress avoided us and served the surrounding tables as they left our starters on top of the stairs. After getting the attention of the waitress, we asked whether the starters were ours to which she replied with a stern 'yes' without any apology. The Beef Carpaccio was completely dry and stuck to the plate as if it was left out overnight. We didn't expect it to be Fresh Wagyu Beef Carpaccio but this was not acceptable. As we were eating dessert, the waiter came and decided to give us the bill even though we didn't ask for it.

Overall it was a terrible experience and we wish we ate elsewhere. Even the fast food counter services like Casey's Corner and Café Hyperion were better. We felt cheated out of 98€. A real shame considering we had a charming day at the park. Our visit to Disneyland Paris would have been perfect if our dining experience was better. If you want to book a restaurant for the evening, save your money and either reserve a table elsewhere or visit the food...

Terrible experience in this restaurant. We ordered a steak set (salad, steak and dessert) and they served us steak that has the wrong cut. What does that mean u wonder. With any steak cut, you should always slice AGAINST the grain, which means against the direction that the muscle fiber runs. For any meat, they are the same concept to make chewing easier or even possible. They served us steak with the wrong cut which is as rubberish as plastic! When i asked then they continue to speak French. Ok i dont speak french. So i explained slowly in English. The manager rolled his eyes and said it is like that. I was like so shock (read the restaurant’s name THE STEAKHOUSE)! Aren’t they the steak expert ?! Then the manager just WALKED AWAY. We were like huh?!? Whats the conclusion? I said excuse me, the manager rolled his eyes again and said will take it off from the bill. Not even a single apologetic word. We were starving and we want to eat, they didnt even offer us for a change of menu or whatsaver that they can offer. We paid and walked out with empty stomach. And guess what, they charged us full price of the salad despite it is only small portion (because it is in the set) as compared to full price salad dish. Totally unacceptable!

Pls google how to cut a meat! Even if we are King Kong or Gorilla or T-rex, It is IMPOSSIBLE for us to chew the steak even if we cut to the smallest piece. Pls avoid this place...
