Quite the experience. The line looks crazy at first but you don’t actually have to wait for that long since the restaurant is quite spacious and can hold a lot of costumers at once. The salad they give you at the beginning is really tasty, try it with some bread. I would’ve loved more nuts with my salad tho. It also doesn’t take long for your meat to get there. The plate with the candles flaming to heat it up give a dramatic take to the whole vibe, but i have to admit they’re useless 🤷🏻♀️ The gravy is very delicious, the meat is cooked to your liking as promised but is not juicy for my liking. I appreciated the fact that the sodas are in glass bottles. The fries are well made and you get offered more as soon as your plate starts to look empty. Which leads me to talk about the staff that were very attentive and very sweet. I had a little issue with the fact that they seat you where they prefer while i would like to take a visit and choose my desired sitting area. I also tried a desert, fondant au chocolat fait maison, and i totally recommend it. It is everything you want from a fondant, very moist and is drained in sauce. I quite enjoyed every bite of it. The wine is also very tasty, i didn’t ask which brand they served me, but the alcohol tastes kind of strong, which i enjoyed in both white and rosé. Read moreThe portions are TOO BIG!! I didn’t finish my chips and I felt really bad because I hate wasting food. I can just imagine how many chips are thrown away at the end of each day😕 And when I asked for a takeaway box, they said they don’t do takeaway boxes. Any restaurant that serves ridiculously huge portions like this one SHOULD give options for a takeaway box. Suggestion: give a medium and large option. L is what is given now and medium would be a smaller, more palatable quantity.
Overall I’m disappointed. The food is just nice. Yeah it’s nice but that’s it. The secret sauce isn’t very secret. I’ve tried sauces like that one before. Out of my week in Toulouse, I’ve eaten much nicer, more interesting entré-plats for even less than 22€. The ‘salad’ consisted of the same vegetable. It already had vinegarette on it and I don’t like vinegarette. After eating, I wanted hot chocolate. There is NO hot chocolate which I think is a very basic thing to have on a menu. Finally, the translation of fondue into ‘chocolate cake’ on the English menu is misleading. I thought it was going to be normal solid chocolate cake😕

Read moreI’ve been here in June 2022. My boyfriend(who is born and raised in this area) took me here and said it was his favorite restaurant in Toulouse. And after visiting, it became my favorite steak restaurant here in Toulouse!
At the time it was a short visit for me and went back to Korea. I’ve been saying many times that we should go back there!! And I went there on January 23, 2023 but unfortunately * it’s currently under renovation untill February 1, 2023(it started from January 22, 2023)* ⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m leaving this information for whom planned to go there during the time I mentioned!! Anyway is was a steak sliced into many pieces from they served it, with sauce(it tasted like pesto for me)a bunch of potatoes fries!!!! Literally bunch! And the combination of them was amazing! I’m sure that you would gain some weight from this heavy meal but I can say it’s worthy!
I also ordered a dessert and coffee. I went there almost 7 months ago so I don’t remember exactly but I think it was good. The impression of steak was too strong, I don’t remember how the anything else was 😂
