I’ve been here in June 2022. My boyfriend(who is born and raised in this area) took me here and said it was his favorite restaurant in Toulouse. And after visiting, it became my favorite steak restaurant here in Toulouse! At the time it was a short visit for me and went back to Korea. I’ve been saying many times that we should go back there!! And I went there on January 23, 2023 but unfortunately *** it’s currently under renovation untill February 1, 2023(it started from January 22, 2023)*** ⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m leaving this information for whom planned to go there during the time I mentioned!! Please call and check if they are re-opened before you go! Anyway is was a steak sliced into many pieces from they served it, with sauce(it tasted like pesto for me)a bunch of potatoes fries!!!! Literally bunch! And the combination of them was amazing! I’m sure that you would gain some weight from this heavy meal but I can say it’s worthy! I also ordered a dessert and coffee. I went there almost 7 months ago so I don’t remember exactly but I think it was good. The impression of steak was too strong, I don’t remember how the anything else was 😂 I think the price of their menu was good for the quality.

There is only one thing on the menu, steak and fries! To me that is perfect! If you can exist and have people queuing outside with only one thing on the menu then you must be doing something right! I started queuing outside about 30 minutes before opening for Sunday lunch. It was already long but I was early enough to get a table for 4 for the first sitting. The only choice with the menu is how you like your meat cooked. I found the results on the rawer side but I was fine with that. Simple but wonderful salad to start with. Then the star event, the entrecôte! Brought out quickly, served with unlimited fries! The winner is the sauce. I still can’t work out what is in it but it is buttery and zesty. As my host spoke to the waiting staff in French, I didn’t understand what was being said. I could see that they were friendly, helpful and fun. Very obliging to take photos for us and playful with a 2 year old that was part of our group. Well worth the visit and the queue.

This restaurant is wven better than what our acquaintances had told us. The waiting queue lasted for about 30 minutes. I would really recommend to go there at 9PM (21:00h). At that time the first shift of people have finished their dinners and you will not have to wait any time whatsoever. The meat is perfectly cooked and it is extremely tasty. The green sauce is very well balanced and full of flavour. The fries are thin, which allow them to be properly soaked in the sauce and it is a great add-on. Moreover, I would like to highlight that there's an open bar of french fries. They also bring a salad in the beginning that contains noix (walnuts), watch out if you are allergic! The lettuce is great. We did not have a chance to have any dessert but they looked amazing. The menú price is 22€/person and the restaurant is NOT halal.

Overall it has left as a positive experience. The big pros are the atmosphere of the place where it gives you the sense that you are in a French restaurant. Also, I like that they serve very few things, which I consider good. The food was also nice. Furthermore, they bring bread and tap water which they do not charge (this is not common in all the other EU countries). The cons for me were the potatoes as I would expect something better regarding the nature of the restaurant and maybe someone who is very selective to his tastes will find the sauce of the beef a bit strange. Overall nice experience, for 2 people, the amount we paid was €44. I would rate this restaurant at a solid 7/10.

Was very curious to try their famous steak and fries for quite some time but was always very scared of the crowd outside)) frankly, the crowd is not that scary and it’s a 15-30 mins wait time. It’s really good that they have just one menu and you don’t need to think a lot what you wanna have as there is just one option… Overall, the place did not live up to the hype but there’s nothing bad about this place. Meat is tender, juicy and tastes good. You shout lower your expectations and then you can come by several times to enjoy the food. Even though I can’t say this is the best stake I’ve had, it’s definitely worth coming by at least 2-3 times and this is what I’m going to do.
