Sable Bakeshop & cafe — Restaurant in Batumi

I recently visited this place with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Although the place looked promising from the outside, the service inside was far from welcoming.

Upon arrival, we sat at a table meant for six people, but it took over 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. Eventually, we decided to go to the counter to place our order, where we were met with an unfriendly staff member. She took our order without asking which table we were sitting at, which seemed unprofessional.

After we returned to our table, a waiter approached us and insisted that we move to another table because, in his opinion, our table was meant for eight people. Despite there being no reservation sign, and us already being seated, he was insistent and became quite rude when we expressed our desire to stay. His behavior was unacceptable, and at that point, we decided to leave.

This was not the experience we were hoping for, and we won’t be returning. I hope the management addresses these issues so that future customers don’t have to go through the same...

I do NOT recommend this place! Terrible food & terrible service/communication + overpriced.

❗️We ordered multiple dishes and none of them were even close to good. I went there hungry and left hungry.

Tuna salad - tasted terrible, we couldn’t eat it and when we reported it to the manager at the end, she basically said, why did you eat the part of it then? She was like I can’t do anything, while it’s up to people’s taste and if you don’t like tuna than that’s the reason. ❗️It was made out of conserved tuna, in cucumbers, was missing ingredients and was terrible.

Mexican potatoes - small, looked more like fries, terrible sauce.

Eggplant salad with wall nuts - super small portion.

Adjarian Khachapuri - not even close to good.

Some dishes are taken out of the menu and still displayed there, that was also annoying.

❗️Waited for the order for over 50 minutes.

❗️They are not open to the feedback and as I see only about making money.

*The waiters were nice. But will never visit this place and I also...

Pros: beautiful location, varied menu and delicious, fresh desserts.

Cons: The tables are wiped with an old, bad-smelling rag. The waiters are sluggish and slow. Today we ordered a croissant, but they didn’t warn us that they had just started preparing them. In the end, they brought us coffee, we waited an hour and, without waiting, when we were about to leave, the waiters remembered the croissant and “kindly” added it to our bill. To our indignation, the waiter said that the croissant was almost ready and they could serve it to us now. We then asked for another coffee, expecting that in this way the establishment would express respect for the client for inappropriate service, but the waiter simply added a third coffee to the bill. There was no trace of an apology or even a guilty look.

Conclusion: We will be happy to come again, but only if the customer service policy in this...
