Picnic Area/Valeri's cafe — Restaurant in Tbilisi

A very unexpected place I've accidentally discovered in the middle of the park. Valery is a very generous and kind person and he also works as a chef in a place he owns. There is always something extremely wholesome when the owner himself is preparing meals for you. The barbecue was delicious with the homemade adjika and the place itself gives you kinda getaway vibe even though is situated in one of the busiest tourist attractions in Tbilisi. Also, I would expect the prices to be higher in that location but that's not the case. The pricing aligns with what you'd see in any middle priced...

Hostile rude unprofessional staff. They have offered us to leave due "cheap order".

1/5 of shashlik is bones and fat. The meat itself is dry and not tasty. I don't understand why everyone pray this place for food in the comments. You can go down the mountain and taste way more better food for reasonable price.

Absolutely loved this spot. Didn't plan to have a bite, but the smells of charcoal and wood were irresistible. Definitely recommend to try the dish of the day, along with a delicious pork shashlik. Pleasant atmosphere, beautiful music, and a nice host - what else do you need on a summer afternoon! Loved it! 100%...
