Hostel At Funicular — Hotel in Tbilisi

I had a booking here and showed up and immediately cancelled and went to another location. The location is quite far from the centre (shocked that many people on Booking rated it so highly) but the kicker was that they left the front door open and unlocked while people were sleeping. I arrived quite early and wanted to drop my bags off and was told by another traveller in the common area that the guy who runs the place was sleeping? They are supposed to have 24/7 reception. In addition the space looked different from their pictures on booking and was quite dishevelled and dirty. I have never cancelled a place on the spot like that after travelling to 47 countries. They are terrible. They make everything for money. They didn’ say me smoking is out of rules. I smoked just one time in my special room. I was so tired. I have made night journey. During the winter in the room is very cold. Main door are open 24h and you can enter the hotel just from the street which is not very safe. Of course the Staff has shift during the night, but they are quite noisy. Also noises from the street are loud so we couldn't sleep: drunk people, firecrackers, cars. Bathrooms are big, but also cold - without any heating. Breakfast supposed to be at 10, we got it at 10.30 and it was one tomato, one pepper, two eggs and two sausages. Without ketchup or mayo. I recommend to skip that part and have nice breakfast...
