From the moment I arrived at Hotel Adamo in September 2019, I knew this stay would be something special. I spent just over a week at this brand-new hotel, and it was absolutely worth every penny.
This brand-new hotel offers a level of cleanliness and attention to detail that’s hard to find. Everything was in pristine condition, and the unique decorations and design really stood out — unlike anything I’ve encountered in other hotels. The rooms exceeded my expectations, not only in style but also in size, as they were much bigger than I anticipated.
The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, always ready to help with any questions or requests. Their warmth and attentiveness really added to the overall experience.
I still remember a sweet, attractive lady in particular who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. She helped me with everything from wine tasting and food recommendations to advice on places to visit. A special thanks to her for making this trip unforgettable!
The hotel’s location is another highlight — perched higher up in the mountains, it offers stunning views and a peaceful, traffic-free environment. Despite being tucked away, it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to Rustaveli Metro, where you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants for groceries or dining out.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It truly offers a one-of-a-kind experience and a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
If I had to nitpick, there are a few minor areas that could be improved. The breakfast, while good, could use a bit more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days. A rotation of options would make it even better. Housekeeping was thorough and consistent in quality but seemed to happen at varying times, which made it a bit hard to predict when they’d come by to clean the room.
Lastly, while the hotel is within walking distance of the city center, it’s important to note that the roads are steep. Walking back up to the hotel can be a bit challenging, though this is easily solved by using apps like Bolt or Yandex Taxi. For just 4-5 GEL, you can get a ride between Rustaveli Avenue (e.g., Liberty Square) and the hotel — a very affordable option.
Overall, Hotel Adamo is a gem with its stunning design, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and scenic location. Whether you’re visiting for a short trip or a longer stay, it’s definitely worth...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel from March 18, 2024 until March 25, 2024. While the hotel’s location nestled in the foothills offers picturesque views, it also posed challenges for elderly guests who found it difficult to navigate the terrain. Beyond this, there are additional aspects I’d like to highlight:
Negative Points:
Room Booking Discrepancy: Our original booking was for a twin bedroom for 7 nights, but upon arrival, we were given a tiny double bedroom. When I requested a change, the response was disappointing: "As you are staying for 7 nights, we can't do anything. If it were a shorter stay, we could definitely change your room." This meant we had to endure the discomfort for the entire duration of our stay.
Breakfast Quality: The breakfast experience was way below avrage. The selection was very limited, and the quality left much to be desired. The most disappointing aspect was the stale bread. It's disheartening to encounter such poor bread quality in a hotel located in a region known for its wine, cheese, and bread. Over the last 3 days, I had to buy fresh bread from a nearby bakery and took it to the restaurant. Even though the restaurant lady manager was trying hard to make it a better experience but it seemed to be out of her hands.
Butter Shortage: Over the last 3 days of our stay, the breakfast items dwindled further. There was a noticeable scarcity of fruits, and to our surprise, they ran out of butter. When we inquired about it, the response was that butter was no longer available. This lack of basic amenities was quite frustrating.
Positive Points:
Cleanliness: On a positive note, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The cleaning staff worked diligently throughout the day to maintain a hygienic environment.
Helpful Receptionist: The lady at the reception, with red highlights in her hair, was truly helpful. Her assistance made our stay more pleasant.
Staff Friendliness: From what I observed, the staff members were generally helpful. However, it seems that the high-level management might need improvement.
Overall, while the cleanliness and helpfulness of some staff members were commendable, the negative aspects significantly impacted our experience at the Adamo Hotel and I don't believe they deserve 4 stars. Hopefully, the management can address these issues to enhance future...
