Restaruant-Terrace "SAAMO" — Restaurant in Tbilisi

We ate here for our last night in Tbilisi. The restaurant is honestly a litle of a hidden gem since its practically in a local neighborhood.I think you would only find it while passing to visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

It has a view of Old Town and the cathedral which are especially wonderful at night. We happened to be the only ones there that day but it kinda made the evening better for us. The music and lights also really made for a lovely ambiance.

Food was really delicious and priced well. We had the lamb chakapuli, shkmeruli, and a salad. When the waiter asked if we wanted bread we told him we were actually missing rice and he said they could makearice cooked with vegetables dish for us. We didn't see it on the menu but maybe we don't know its name in Georgian. We really appreciated it and the rice was really good.

Also highly recommend to get their tap wine which they sell by glass / liter. have quite a big selections of wine but this house wine of theirs was amazing. We had the semi sweet red and it was smooth and easy to drink. It paired really well with the food. All the food and wine only costed about 90 lari.

The service as well was excellent. The waiter was very kind and helpful as mentioned before. Even though we didn't ask for it, he brought us blankets. We didn't even realize it was that chilly until he put them on us andit made the dinner all the more pleasant as we were all cozy.
