Its sleek, futuristic design, made of glass and steel, arches gracefully over the Kura River, creating a seamless connection between the old and new parts of the city. It’s not just a bridge; it’s an artwork in itself, symbolizing the progress and transformation of Tbilisi while respecting its rich historical roots. One of the best experiences of the Bridge of Peace is walking across it during the evening. As the sun sets, the bridge lights up with a spectacular display of LED lights, making it feel almost magical. The way the lights reflect off the river adds to the beauty of the view, and it's a favorite spot for both locals and tourists alike. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the views from the bridge are fantastic, offering a clear panorama of the city's key landmarks, including the Narikala Fortress and the picturesque Old Town. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the bridge is functional and well-integrated into the city. It connects Rike Park with the historical areas, making it a convenient and scenic way to explore the city. The park itself is lovely to visit, especially for families, and the bridge provides easy access to Tbilisi’s main attractions, from the sulfur baths to the cobblestone streets of the Old Town. The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River, linking the Rike Park with Old town in central Tbilisi. Since its opening in 2010 the structure has become an important pedestrian crossing in the city, as well as a significant tourist attraction and one of the most well-recognized landmarks of the capital. The Bridge of Peace is a convenient cross point between the Rike Park and the ‘old’ part of the town. It also provides amazing views of Tbilisi, especially at sunrise, sunset or night. Near the Peace Bridge is Rike Park, which is well-appointed, with amusement parks and perfect for walking and unwinding. From here you can also visit the Narikala by cable car and enjoy the wonderful views of the city from above. Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Tower and the Presidential Palace are perfectly visible from the bridge. The Peace Bridge is one of the most popular places in Tbilisi. The modern design bridge brings eclecticism to the environment of old Tbilisi.

An absolute must-see! The Bridge of Peace is a marvel to behold, whether you choose to visit during the day or at night. Offering panoramic views of the cityscape, it serves as the perfect backdrop for some Instagram-worthy shots. But that's not all! Take the opportunity to enjoy a scenic boat ride that not only gives you a unique perspective of the bridge but also meanders through the lovely park it connects. We've visited a few times, opting to take a Bolt from our hotel and finishing the journey on foot—a decision we've never regretted. The structural design of the bridge is nothing short of amazing. But it's at night that the bridge truly comes alive. Illuminated by an array of lights, it provides a breath-taking view that complements the city's own nocturnal glow. Truly, the Bridge of Peace is where engineering meets art, and it's an experience you shouldn't miss!
