Satchashnike, chosen for its glowing reviews, is a restaurant and bar that impresses with its spacious, elegantly appointed interior. Far from a typical rowdy pub, its sophisticated design, enriched with tasteful decor, creates an inviting ambiance for refined gatherings.
FOOD:
The menu marries Georgian and European cuisines, offering a variety of snacks and platters perfect for pairing with beer, complemented by house-made pastries and bread. The fish platter was exceptional: lightly smoked trout, brushed with a subtly sweet sauce, was tender and juicy; the dorado, expertly prepared, had flesh that separated effortlessly from the bone; and the shrimp, with their crisp, near-dry crust, felt intentionally styled, adding a unique flair. The fresh vegetable salad showcased top-notch quality, with vibrant summer veggies and bold flavors and don’t miss the marinated cucumbers, which we highly recommend. The khinkali were outstanding, packed with juicy broth, well-balanced spices, and wrapped in smooth, thin dough, hitting the mark for this classic dish. The chebureki were distinctive, resembling fried khinkali more than the traditional version we know, but their superb flavor suggested this was their signature twist.
SERVICE:
Our waiter was remarkable, a standout in Tbilisi’s dining scene. His efficient service, paired with genuine warmth and a dash of humor, made the evening truly special.
VERDICT:
Visiting on a Friday, we were treated to an American rock-n-roll concert that elevated the night with an unforgettable vibe. Seated near the stage, we enjoyed clear, immersive sound that never overwhelmed, reflecting a professional setup. With delicious food, lively music, and stellar service, Satchashnike is a gem in Tbilisi’s scene—I wholeheartedly...
Read moreSo I went there with colleagues very excited about food, since the reviews were very good. Maybe it was their bad day, maybe the cook wasn’t in the mood, idk everything we ordered was either overcooked or too salty, so salty that it would burn your mouth, especially Pork Mtsvadi. The Kebab was very dry, it was just screaming for help 🥲Khinkali was bad, really bad… i won’t go in details of what was wrong with it but again you can go and try it by yourself. Only good thing was fried sausage platter, but again the sauces were out of place. We were excited to try their cuisine, but this was not a good experience. The whole meal felt like a waste. Only highlight of our dinner was a good beer and friendly atmosphere. Would...
Read moreBeautiful place, live music, good food, exquisite service. The staff was absolutely amazing. I'd say the prices are on par for with other places like this. Food was delicious, though in my humble opinion paying around 2.7 lari for a single xinkali is not worth it. But other dishes were really good. Meat plate/plater was really good. Parking is a bit weird and hard to get to, though they allegedly have their own parking space, so try to keep that in mind. Overall, the experience was amazing, and only disappointment for me was xinkali because I really like it and was expecting more...
