The location was lovely, the food was fine - not as great as we were expecting based on reviews, but fine for the price.
The service was very disappointing. I have allergies to several ingredients common in Georgian food, with reactions being unpredictable and ranging from mild irritation to anaphylaxis, so am careful to ask about specific ingredients. I asked about one in particular with both the starter and the main (and showed a translation of my allergies in Georgian to avoid language misunderstandings), and told the server I had an allergy to it. Both times the server assured me it was not in the dish, when in fact it was. With the starter another server came to correct the mistake (after I had taken one bite), but with the main after I took another bite and suspected it was in there, we had to Google the dish to confirm that it was. My partner was very annoyed and went to speak to the servers to tell them of their mistake and how dangerous it was; they did not respond. We spent the rest of the meal anxious about whether or not I would need to go to the hospital. Not once did a single server or manager come to the table to apologize, check in on how I was doing, offer to reduce the bill, or do anything else to acknowledge the mistake. The only time anyone came was to collect the dishes, and they did not even respond when we said thank you. We were shocked at this "service" and won't...

TABLE AND CHAIRS: We visited the restaurant a few days earlier to make a reservation. We found a lovely table for two that was available, and they kindly reserved it for us. However, when we arrived on the day of our reservation, our original table had been replaced with a large sofa, two lounge chairs, and a huge table.
We inquired about our original table but were unsuccessful in getting it back.
Sitting in these chairs and the sofa created an unusual dining experience. Our arms barely reached the table, making it feel as if we were children trying to reach the adults' table.
I don't understand why anyone would choose to dine in such an arrangement. It seemed more suited for cocktails in a lounge setting.
FOOD: To be honest, the food was mediocre. The salads were decent, but my pumpkin soup was overly sweet and needed more salt.
We ordered both starters and mains, but they brought everything at the same time, which was quite strange. This resulted in me eating soup, salads, and the main course simultaneously.
It honestly felt like the restaurant was rushing us through the meal to accommodate another party.
The worst part was that the staff appeared to be absent. They were walking around, chatting amongst themselves, laughing, and not paying much attention to...
Read moreThe restaurant really looks the part and has great service, just ashame about the food. I visited on the 16th October and ordered a few dishes and chose what appeared to be one of their signature dishes, the dorado with risotto. Bear in mind this is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu and so my expectations were pretty high. Upon presentation it visually looked OK, the strange green moose was to fluorescent which looked cheap and tacky but tasted fine. The fish was really tasty and cooked nicely. The risotto however was a complete let down, a mixture of cooked rice and uncooked rice. When I say uncooked, over half the rice was completely hard. How is that possible to send out a dish where the rice is not cooked, I expected more. I have attached a photo of the dish as some restaurants like to play the game of calling people trolls instead of taking accountability. Any way, overall the other dishes were really good and the service was top notch. Perhaps they just made a blunder on this occasion however with so much choice in Tbilisi I'll be...
