ONO Restaurant — Restaurant in Tbilisi

No doubt their food selections are delicious. We were just disappointed with their customer service. We had our Christmas Eve dinner yesterday, reserved a table for 3, 7pm. Since the table they offered is quite big for 3 persons, they offered a smaller table at the 2nd floor. We ordered and while waiting, the waitress came and asked for how long are we doing to stay in their restaurant since the table they offered is booked. Told them we will just eat dinner then leave so max 1 hour. Our orders came one by one after 10-15 mins, again the waitress informed that the customers who had the table reserved are arriving in 30 min. After we finished our main dish, I requested for dessert. Again the waitress informed that the customers are arriving in 10 mins. So for dessert, we will need to move to another table behind us for 8-10 persons capacity. I asked how many ar they expecting and was informed that the table where we are is reserved for 6 persons. I negotiated to have them sit on the bigger table since we are still eating. The manager came and tried to explain. I told her that we are still eating and actually waiting for our dessert. We still have around 17 min based from the 1 hr estimated stay I agreed. They could have handled the issue in a better way instead of pressuring us and informing us that in 30 mins, in 10 mins the other customers are arriving. Imagine is eating quickly without savoring the dish. Since they don’t want to compromise to my suggestion, I cancelled the dessert, paid the bill and left their restaurant. Thank you so much for wonderful experience i had in this established restaurant, it is indeed a fine dinning fresh making food they serve, i literally ask only 1 chef here which is sous chef i believe he is bold chef and good consistency standards and quality of food he makes is always top notch and i cannot complain how delicious he put love while making all food though breakfast food he dnt make but chicken breast, beef stroganoff, pizza is my favourite he made and pizza i hope will come back soon as perfect taste and crispy is best, chicken breast i think i order 5 or more times as he made it so good that i searching for it day by day but i hope he can add more sauce under as its good,perfect balance of the vegetables under that is not saggy, all in all experience is perfect and thank you so much including the staff member who take order and serve is good and as well bartender who always made lemon and mint, do not miss to visit this restaurant when you visiting tbilisi they are the one of best find dinning i ever taste, as i am a chef myself i 1000% recommended this place. Terrible service. I had a reserve, they did not let me get a good place to sit, instead I had to sit down next to other people, while my table was slightly bigger than a 16 inch laptop.
