PEKOPEKO - Curry & Japanese food — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I recently dined at this Japanese curry restaurant, and I must say it was an outstanding experience that deserves a solid 5-star rating! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere.

The menu offered a delightful variety of curry dishes, I opted for the PekoPeko curry, and it exceeded my expectations. The pork was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the curry sauce was a harmonious blend of savoury and slightly sweet notes. It's clear that the chefs here take great pride in their craft.

The portion size was generous, ensuring I left with a satisfied appetite. The presentation of the dishes was also good, showcasing attention to detail and aesthetic appeal.

The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions about the menu.

Whether you're a curry enthusiast or a newcomer, I highly recommend this establishment for an exceptional dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

I went several times to try their other dishes like grilled chicken curry, miso soup and lunch specials: Peko sand and one-bite pork cutlet. They were incredible.

Long stressful day after work , you know that the fridge is empty , you are to tired to get groceries and prepare the meal which will need 30-50 min or more and the food will be gone in less then 15 min it is cold and windy outside, it is autumn 🍁 all the tree leafs had fallen and streets are covered with yellowish brown colour , you have need for something hot , like soup or meaty ramen, or some spicy ramen , some hot drink like a Chai (Tea) to wake you up fill warm inside , you go there . I am very disappointed with the quality of food and service. Waiting for several dishes took over 1 hour, and the dishes were brought in a chaotic order - first dessert, then the main course. I paid 15 lari for 3 small chicken skewers, and the chicken was drenched in a lot of sauce, making it very salty. What upset me the most was that I showed the waiter that I wanted a set that includes onigiri, miso soup, and chicken skewers. However, after half an hour, they brought me only the skewers, and I had to wait for the rest. When I asked the waiter, she showed me the tablet and said that I had only ordered chicken.
