Gallery Hostel Tbilisi — Hotel in Tbilisi

We used airport pick up and it was great. Bacho the hostel staff was very welcoming and helpful for the pick up. We checked in at 4 AM and the other staff showed us everything and offered us tea or coffee. He kindly got a taxi for us to the bus station when we wanted to check out with his own cellphone. He kindly made another call for our ticket reservation with his personal mobile phone. They helped us carrying our luggage. The room had a good heater and we enjoyed a nice water pressure for the shower.||||We asked for a twin bed room but the room was so small that beds were put side by side and it became like a double bed room. So I think they need to reconsider this in booking.com. The bathroom and toilet was very dirty so we had to clean it ourselves before the first use. It seemed that they didn't use this room for a long time and it became dusty eventually and they didn't clean it again before our check in. I found an oily pan in the cabinet among washed dishes and the toaster was dramatically unclean. I afraid if people get ill by using such dirty things. The room didn't have enough light and internet speed was dramatically low. We were the only guests in the place and hopefully the only users of internet but it seemed that the internet traffic goes somewhere else. One of the guys working there was really disappointing. He was playing computer games all day long or invited his girlfriend to the place and was with her and when I asked him for direction he was not concentrated to me at all and wrongly told me that the dry bridge is near the sulfur bath! Then when I asked more for directions he aggressively asked me to google the direction and went to continue his computer game. He told me goodbye rudely as : See U never! Spent 4 nights here in summer of 2024, had a private room with bathroom. The bed was a bit hard and the room design isn't the best but there is enough space for a couple. Bathroom was ok too although the shower was a bit small. You will hear noises from other guests staying here but not a big issue unless you're a light sleeper like me.

Marina the host is super helpful, it was possible to do laundry through her third party service. Very responsive and we communicated well.
