Do not be deceived by its modest-sounding name - O'fra Pizzabar serves the most sublime pizzas you will ever have the good fortune to enjoy outside Italy. Our first few bites already had us planning our next visit - the crust alone made our hearts jump for joy. There is a glorious array of hot and cold antipasti, all made à la minute from the freshest ingredients. The same quality and attention to detail are applied to their fabulous range of cocktails. And whatever you do, leave room for dessert, because their tiramisu and chocolate mousse will make you reevaluate all others you thought were good before. O'fra service is warm and excellent and their prices very fair. In warmer weather, there's a lovely terrace with beautifully-tended plants and window boxes. This place is hyped as one of the top pizza spots in Aachen - so I thought I’d be adventurous and take a pizza with juicy lamb ragout - which turned out to be the worst “pizza” I ever had: A white pizza with some sad, dried morcels of lamb, some not-long-enough pickled red onions (thus still very intense onion taste) plus fresh spring onions. So the dominating - and lasting - taste was onion topped by onion - brrrh… A simple kebab would have been nicer! To be fair the second pizza was decent, though, as was the salad - yet all in all on the pricier end for Aachen. I recently visited O'FRA and I must say, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had in Germany! The menu is extensive, offering a fantastic variety of options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised when I requested a specific drink that wasn’t on the menu, and they happily accommodated my request.

The ingredients were incredibly fresh and delicious, making each bite a delightful experience. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect.
