Everything about this is place is to do with this chestnut tree here. This tree adds so much vibe to this place that it has to be experienced firsthand. My friend and I reserved the table beforehand and we chose the best place in this restaurant- under the generous shade of the tree. It made the experience so much more enjoyable.

The food especially the Käsespätzle is the best I ever had. The service is quick and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Augsburg or even living in Augsburg but did not try yet.

Ende August 2023, 12.30 Uhr Mittags, schönstes Biergartenwetter recht wenige Gäste: Schöner Biergarten unter einem Kastanienbaum, man kann da nett draußen sitzen und mal ein Bier trinken, das war es aber auch schon. Die engen Toiletten waren sauber, Seife war leer.

Das Essen ist eher vom Nineau einer der schlechteren Autobahnraststätten. Mir scheint aufgrund der vielen 5 Sterne Rezensionen hier, dass am selben Ort gleichzeitig zwei völlig verschiedene Restaurants Boheme existieren. Oder hat da kürzlich der Koch gekündigt, der Inhaber gewechselt, oder bekommen mache Gäste das gute selbst gekochte Essen und andere nur das erhitzte Fertigigmenue aus der Aluschale serviert?

Mein Schweinebratenfleisch war soweit ok, die aufgetauten Tiefkühlknödel waren nicht durchgegart und innen kalt, das noch sehr harte Rotkraut war vermutlich direkt aus dem Glas und ohne weitere Zutat nur kurz in der Mikrowelle erwärmt worden, die Maggisauce war essbar. Mein Mann hatte einen Schwabenteller mit Spätzle; dieser war völlig salzfrei, ungewürzt und fad. Die recht matschigen Spätzle waren vollgesogen mit einer sehr fettigen Sauce, drei kleine, trockene Stückchen Schweinelende lagen obenauf.
