The guys who Handels the Sangam restaurant is very arrogant. I don’t know who the owner is, if the owner is looking into comment the he must take action against this guy. He behavior was very racist. People should avoid going to Sangam.
Reply 26.10.2021: As requested by the Owner. Here is my detailed racial experience faced by the Restaurant Manager.
Yes i did visit Sangam on 17th of October. I had called placed an order for 2 dishes over the call. The guy who manages the Restaurant (little Small guy) himself picked the call and took the order. He told over call to come in 20 Minutes. I reached to the restaurant in around 30 to 32 Minutes. After reaching i got to know that he had forgot to place the order in Kitchen. I waited almost 10 to 15 Minutes before i got my order.
I asked why this delay happened and he replied its to busy and if you want best food then you must wait. I said this is not a way you should reply and then his reply was '' you have ordered for so less amount (15 to 20 Euro) and expecting that you don't wait.
His last word was the raciest of raciest comment: He told you can go to some other restaurant from next time. This is not a way a Manager of the restaurant should behave.

Read moreI love it... The food is great, very well prepared. The best Indian restaurant in Augsburg I would say! I prefer non spicy Indian food (yes, not all Indians prefer spicy food, that's a tad bit generalisation), and upon request, these guys prepare exactly how it is supposed to be, never making it bland. Most of the staff is friendly and patient, especially Sandeep.
Being an Indian, if you ask me the ranking for Indian restaurants in Augsburg, my ranking are as follows. Sangam in Innenstadt & Pizza life near Polizeipräsidium (The later is way more cheaper in costs, good for takeways. The former i.e. Sangam is more expensive, but equally great tasting, great quality, offers a lot better ambience). Ganesha (good ambience, good food, good friendly staff, but Sangam is better in terms of taste I think). Taj Mahal (same review as Ganesha, but taste is not as consistently authentic.. it feels like something is missing, I cannot point exactly what. Also Ganesha has a better ambience, feels more roomy). India palace (Good food overall, but quantity-wise, it's lot less than the others, esp....
Read moreWe went there on a normal working day along with kids for dinner, we were welcomed by a person and straight away said no place without reservation, even for courtesy sake, he didn't even ask whether I have reservations or not. There were at least 10 tables free and he couldn't accept us. Not only here, I think In general Indians are not welcomed in Indian restaurants. Kids were so tired and we had to walk for atleast 1.5 Kms to get into another restaurant in cold weather . Will never visit such places again, not worth. The response from the restaurant can be seen below. Without even knowing the fact, such a rude response, we were only 5, 3 kids and 2 adults, and that's totally fine restaurant policy, please do mention that very clearly in your advertisement as well, so that people can save their precious time, after 09.30 I don't think there would be so much people visiting and definitely 10 tables were free and they can't afford 1 table. People in the Business should know how to treat their guests, and this is the first in last 20 years in a restaurant receiving...
