Osteria Stromboli — Restaurant in Baden-Baden

Great Italian food! A very cozy place that reminds you of a small Italian kitchen. The items on the wall remind you of the restaurant's Sicilian heritage. The tables are limited so reservations are a good idea if you're coming in during the busy dinner hours.

I ordered a large mixed salad along with a plate of Sicilian pasta. Both items were amazing with absolutely no complaints. Unfortunately the pasta is not made in house which is the only drawback I could find. A large wine, beer, and cocktail list is also available if you're looking for something to drink before or after the meal. I also had an espresso which was nice and strong but not burnt in the slightest.

The service was great and waiters very friendly taking the time to ask us where we were from. As a traveller, it was great that they could speak English, Italian, and German.

Visited this restaurant for dinner on a quiet Sunday night.

The ambiance was charming and pleasant, but the service didn't quite measure up to the same standard; it lacked professionalism.

Regarding the food, the Minestrone Di Verdure tasted homemade but was bland, making it more of a nutritional choice than an enjoyable one. The pizza had flavorful toppings, though I wasn't impressed with the dough. The bucatini alla norma (eggplant pasta) was good but not outstanding.

I was also surprised that there was no olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided, which is unusual for an Italian restaurant. I had to request them after receiving the table bread (which was very flat and dry).

Overall, considering the reasonable prices and the okay quality of the food, this place is a good option if you're not particularly fussy about...

Pretty good Italian restaurant. We got some pasta and pizzas. Overall pretty good, really enjoyed the food.

The atmosphere is pretty good, inside the restaurant is very comfortable. We had a small issue, that a copule next to us also had... Since we ordered a spaghetti Fruti di Mare, the smell attracted some flies. We moved inside to solve the issue. Don't get me wrong, the taste and smell was excellent, but it was a small issue that might annoy some. Probably a fluorescent lamp next to the outdoor area might help with this minor issue.
