We came on a Friday evening and wanted to eat here.
Unfortunately, we had to wait a while before we could place our order. Our two main courses came relatively quickly, but unfortunately that was a disappointment. The Baden cheese spaetzle had just been thrown onto the plate, there were no onions, no herbs and no salt. It seemed as if they had been ready-made spaetzle from a packet. The side salad was OK, but nothing special. My partner's gnocchi were better, but she looked in vain for the walnut pesto, but there was even more parmesan, which was simply disproportionately much and overpowered the taste. We paid just under 44 euros for that and for a bottle of water and a beer. The service was practically non-existent after the main course, our empty plates were in front of us for almost twenty minutes. We were not even asked whether we liked our food. The waiters' disinterest (with the exception of one young lady) was obvious. It's a shame, because that's not how we know...

The Caesar Salad was a joke—barely edible. A few sad pieces of cauliflower (yes, CAULIFLOWER in a Caesar Salad!) and a couple of pathetic chicken strips do NOT make a meal which costs WUR 22.5. I could have better salad at sone other place. The waiter had the audacity to recommend it as “filling,” but it was laughable. The salad sucked.
The chicken burger? Just as bad—dry, flavorless, and utterly forgettable.
The service? A complete disaster. Our waiter was clueless—didn’t know if they had Tabasco, didn’t understand their own menu, and was visibly confused about beers. They served us the wrong beer and then laughed it off, saying, “Oops!” Is this a joke to them?
This place is wildly overpriced for such a miserable experience. Terrible food, chaotic service, and outrageous prices. Avoid this place...
Read moreThe place is big and really nice specially on good weather as it has a nice view. Food however not so much. I had a burger that was obviously frozen. The fries looked like pulled out of a commercial supermarket bag and it came with bland tomatoes, onions and lettuce on the side that is meant, maybe, to be placed inside the burger by the client. It is really expensive for the quality and even though everything is expensive in Baden-Baden, if you feel like a burger maybe Burger King or something similar is a better use of your money. The did have cocktails that looked amazing and some really good looking ice creams so perhaps the place is a much better experience if you come for that...
