It was a very cold night and it was nice to walk into this very warm restaurant. It wasn’t very crowded and I quickly got a seat. The menu is pretty expensive and I wanted an appetizer so I ordered a pizza. I also ordered the veal as my main dish. The waitress thought that that would be way too much but I managed to eat it all. The pizza was piping hot it was good on a cold night. I finished the pizza before the veal came out and was glad for having the veal because the veal was only three medallions in a pool of sauce with a nice little bowl of noodles. Everything was very tasty and I’m glad I ate here but if your hungry order the pizza first.

We slept in here to get our late lunch, it was not busy at all. They're were only a couple other people sitting outside, with many open tables. So we sit down an empty table, and one of the servers said hello to us, and that was it. The same server came out multiple times to check on the other two people who were eating, but never engaged with us once again. I asked multiple times for menus and both English and German, but was never acknowledged. There are other people that sat down after us, but we're also ignored. After 30 minutes waiting, we got up and left.

Dies war unser erster und einziger Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Aufgrund von Corona haben wir das Essen zum Mitnehmen abgeholt (1x Pizza Funghi, 1x hausgemachte Lasagne). Bereits am Telefon wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass dieses in 10 Minuten abholbereit wäre, was uns bereits stutzig machte. Zu Hause angekommen wurden wir dann auch reichlich enttäuscht. Da es sich hierbei um ein Restaurant handelt hatten wir geschmacklich doch deutlich mehr erwartet. Für uns schmeckte es einfach nach schlechter Tiefkühl- oder Mikrowellenkost. Die Pizza schmeckte labbrig und war reichlich mit Dosenpilzen statt frischen Pilzen belegt. Auch der Käse hatte unseres Erachtens nichts mit üblichem Pizzakäse oder Mozzarella zu tun. Bei der hausgemachten Lasagne konnte man nichtmal erkennen, dass es sich um ebendiese handeln sollte. Wir bekamen eine Aluschale welche komplett in (Fertig-?)Soße schwamm und es hatte geschmacklich nichts mit Lasagne gemein. Sie bestand zwar minimal aus Hackfleisch, zusätzlich aber z.B. noch aus einer Scheibe gekauftem Kochschinken. Die anderen größtenteils guten Bewertungen kann ich mir leider nicht erklären, es sei denn hier wurden aufgrund von Corona Sparmaßnahmen angesetzt und es steht derzeit kein Koch in der Küche, sonder nur noch eine Aushilfe, welche Convenient-Food aufwärmt. Falls dies der Fall ist, sollte man jedoch die Karte während Corona verkleinern o.ä. aber sicherlich nicht in der Qualität derarte Abstriche machen. Ich kann nur hoffen, dass das Essen unter normalen Bedingungen genießbarer ist. Für uns ist das "Restaurant" nun jedoch Geschichte.

It all started on chilly Wednesday afternoon. When I arrived, I immediately knew something was off. After consuming an incredibly bland and hard pizza, we were met with the abrupt shock of the bill. Upon first glance, it appeared to be just an ordinary bill, but upon further inspection, we noticed something was terminally wrong. There it was, as clear as day and Jesus Christ the Lord our Saviour, the price of water staring us dead in the eyes. €7 for water. Now you might be thinking, well, why does this even matter? but that's when you have to ask yourself, 'Would Jesus pay €7 for water?' and i think you'll find that the answer is 'no'. Despite this gruesome experience, we still found the goodness deep down in our hearts to tip. I truly don't know how to feel about this, and, if I'm being honest, I don't know if I can ever recover from this traumatic event...

We enjoyed some good wines, penne pasta, and pizza diabolo. The food was delicious, but a little firmer or drier than we'd prefer, though the portion sizes were great. Our waiters, Abdul Qadoos and Alessandro, were helpful and made good recommendations and conversation. We are on the patio, to enjoy the cool night air. There wasn't anything wrong with the atmosphere, but it was a little dark outside and didn't quite hold up against the vibrance of some of the other restaurants we walked past on the way here.
