I was a regular (and regular tipper) at 'A Magica, and it's a petty good pizza, no doubt. However, after just ordering 2 pizzas and a quarter litre of wine at dinner, and having asked, received and drunk 1/4 litre of tap water with it, I was REFUSED a further 1/4 litre of tap water with the line, "This isn't Paris, you can only get bottled water from now on." Admittedly, I lost it a little temporarily, but upon apologising for my language (something to the effect of "get your head out of your *ss") I was told this was on the orders of "the boss" and -- nothing could or would be done.

I don't know if you, like me, find the policy of withholding tap water loathsome, but if you do, you might want to investigate some other options for your pizza choices. For sure there's plenty of good options around the area! The bottled water business is already corrupt and horribly wasteful, and these restaurants should learn this isn't a reasonable alternative revenue scheme to foist...

We went in with high expectations. The place is always full and the smell of the food was always good whenever we passed. I ordered the Magica signature pizza. Potatoe on a pizza sounded interesting and I wanted to see how such a idea was executed. My guess was that it would be mashed and be creamy and perhaps be spread over the pizza and slightly baked. You can guess my dissapointment when I receiced a pizza with a slice of boiled bland potato on it. My first reaction was to laugh. It just looked absolutely sad. I still cant get over the fact that this is actually on a menü. Secondly we ordered a buffalina which was sub par. The dough however was tasty. Unfortunately this place has been a dissapointment. On top of it, it is also shamelessly pricey. There are some original Italian pizza options...
