Asia Song Hong — Restaurant in Berlin

I came to this place looking for some nice asian food while traveling alone in Berlin. The food was good, however their service was terrible. I asked for one table for myself in english, and she made some angry face (??) and also threw the menu on the table. Also they don’t accept card. I missed the small tiny ant sized sticker on the counter covered by plants that says no card allowed and i was trying to dig my coins out and then i could see that same lady getting impatient and angry. And then she gave me the change with her wet hands while doing the dish.

Mind you i was 19 year old asian woman traveling alone wanting some food that could warm me from long journey outside my country. This actually made me feel...

If you’re from Austin, this place is MUCH better than thundercloud subs, the crispy duck is incredible and succulent, ya he summer rolls are delicious, 2 thumbs up, the 06 Tom khaki soup is hearty and filling (and I got a small). The friend banana is exactly as it sounds. Fried banana. The juices are exactly as they advertised. In fact they may even be too fresh. Overall this place was an extremely good value for very good food

Only issue is homeless guy that comes around, he shows you a sad photo that really bums you out and walks into the restaurant asking for money but...

I have lived in Berlin a LONG time and only just discovered this place, shame on me:)

Great food, lovely friendly staff (thanks Tina!) and the prices are cheaper than most places in the area.

Berlin has become incredibly expensive to eat out, compared to what it used to be and I feel places like this are important as they are fair and not trying to rip unassuming tourists off like many places are
