Auntie‘s Café — Restaurant in Berlin

Bad customer experience, fully self-service even when the same order was provided in three parts (had to stand up three times in a 10-minutes interval), average to bad coffee and poor snacks. Place is not especially cosy, some customers entered without mask and were alllowed to sit inside without fulfiling the mandatory requirements of providing a certificate or test. And there are no toilets for customers. Instead, when going to the back of the place looking for a bathroom, we were shouted and told to go to the Italian restaurant opposite the street (where they were not satisfied nor aware that the customers were sent there to the bathroom). Definitely, not again. Why not 1 star? Only because there are still worse places...

We came here in the morning when we were looking for a cafe to have breakfast outside on an empty stomach and it did not let us down. There was a very friendly and caring staff and the food was very good both in appearance and flavor. It had an environment like its name, it made us feel like we were in a family home. They also have a lot of cake varieties and they looked delicious. I tried the banana bread and I recommend it. Auntie's Cafe definitely...

Real Turkish specialities experience. All food is homemade and feels like my mom. The owner is the sweetest shop owner I ever met. She is taking care of the customers really well.
