lovely & cozy space with many selections of bakery goods & beverages.
unfortunately the green tea cheesecake is disappointing. it looks very pretty but it taste very bitter. just straight up eating matcha powder. not tasting any cheese either. the texture is also very powdery & crumbly? didn’t hold any shape. i’m not sure if the mixing process is wrong but literally just taste like eating the matcha powder. just very powdery, bitter. you can’t even take a spoon because it’s so crumbly. kinda taste sour too a little bit(?)
we ask the owner why it’s so bitter and she said it’s supposed to taste like that because they don’t use any sugar (?) which we didn’t see the sign at the display. the cake also comes with the little syrup which not helps at all. it just didn’t blend.
we also ask our friend who come along with us & recommend the place & she said it’s not supposed to taste like that. she had it before and it’s different.
we also ask all of our friends there and they are all agree something is wrong with the cake. we couldn’t finish it.
my friend order another cheesecake with different flavor and it’s sooo good, not crumbly at all & had flavor. literally taste like a cheesecake.
besides that, the matcha latte was amazing. everything taste good, the place is lovely.
i’m sorry to leave a bad review but i wish the owner would validate us when we said something wrong with the cake & offer us a solution, rather just told us it’s just taste...
Read moreToday I ordered a Matcha Latte and a small cake called Yuja Roll. How can I say it? I'm quite satisfied with my experience here. For example, the Yuja Roll cake is soft and fluffy. Because it is a sweet cake, I personally can't stand that, but fortunately, the cake also comes with some sour berries like blueberry or raspberry so I can fully enjoy the cake without worrying about feeling sick when eating it. The Matcha Latte cup is not too hot but moderately warm, the matcha smell is pleasant and the milk does not overwhelm the matcha flavor, creating a taste that is neither too bitter nor too sweet. The atmosphere is quite comfortable and the staff is polite. The interesting thing is that the shop has a lot of paper instructions and explanations of necessary information, I really like that. Highly recommend everyone to...
Read moreThe cafe is so cute and retro, but unfortunately we didn't really like the food. We came first thing on saturday when they opened and tried the strawberry fruit roll cake, the cheesecake and the dacquoise. Maybe we were just unlucky with the fruit roll cake, maybe it was left over from the day before, I don't know, but it really didn't taste good at all. The cream and strawberries tasted almost expired, we can't really explain it, but we were very disappointed. The cheesecake was okay, nothing special, and very small for the price compared to others. ..the dacquoise however was fantastic, it was so buttery (you have to have a love for butter though as it has a lot of butter) and so flavorful, we loved it even though it was very expensive for such a small bomb. The lady was so sweet and nice, it's a real shame we didn't really...
