Despite the fact that there are not many visitors, and there are 4 staff on shift, for some reason they don’t have time to clean the tables. It is very dirty and not pleasant to sit at dirty tables and they are all like that. As a tourist visiting Berlin this spot became one of my favourite places for breakfast. The food is excellent and the coffee is great. The prices are very reasonable and there are a few tables outside where one can sit and watch the world go by. This seems to be the place where all the local Berliners get their breads and coffee too so if you aren't early you may struggle to find a seat. I can highly recommend a stop here if you are...

Entsorgung vor Verkauf! Ranzig & gammelig! Unfreundlich. Am 19.01.2025 habe ich hier ab 11:35 Uhr "gefrühstückt". Ein Mini-Laugenhörnchen mit geschnittenen Eierscheiben von einem halben Ei und mit Butter (3,60 €) war absolut ranzig und gammelig. Eierscheiben waren blau und grün. Butter ranzig. Entweder vom Vortag oder in der Nacht auf Vorrat produziert und dann stundenlang in der Auslage liegend. Dazu noch ein gekochtes Ei (1,00 €): steinhart. Beides hat der Hund bekommen. Kaffee-Nr. 1, kleine Tasse, nur aus der Maschine (Filterkaffee gibt es nicht) (4,00 €). 8,60 € mit Karte bezahlt. Kaffee-Nr. 2 wie oben (4,00 €) bestellt und bereits abgefüllt. Ich wollte wieder mit Karte zahlen. Die Bedienung: "Das geht erst ab 5,00 €". Ich sagte, dass ich kein Bargeld dabei habe. Sie: "Dann suchen Sie sich doch noch was zum Essen aus." Ich: "Ich habe schon was zum Essen bestellt. Im Übrigen hätte ich den 2. Kaffee ja gerne bereits mitbezahlt, hätte man mal einen Hinweis erhalten." Sie in ihrem freundlichen Berlinerisch: "Icke hab Sie net bedient." und schüttete den bereits abgefüllten Kaffee weg anstatt ihn über Karte abzurechnen. Nur...
