During my recent visit to Berlin in August, I had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant with a friend. The atmosphere of the place captivated us immediately. Conveniently situated in a side street of Kurfürstendamm, its location is as central as it gets as well as the street is very quiet and has beautiful buildings.
Nam, the owner, along with the bartender and waiters, were incredibly welcoming and service minded. They provided a thorough introduction to the menu and offered excellent suggestions tailored to our tastes.
Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, creating a wonderful dining experience, with Nam adding to the delightful ambiance. The bartender impressed us with his skill, crafting some truly incredible drinks—a must-try!
The food was exquisite. The sushi was top-notch, and the dumplings were among the best I've ever had. The sauce was nothing short of exceptional. Given the quality of our first visit, we felt compelled to return and explore more of the menu. We enjoyed dumplings, sushi, salmon ceviche, grilled salmon, and papaya salad—all beautifully prepared with high-quality ingredients.
Despite the restaurant being quite busy on both days we visited, which also included many regulars, the quality and service remained outstanding. This speaks volumes about the establishment.
I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Berlin, where I will certainly dine here again. A heartfelt thank you for such a wonderful experience! We would have given you a score of 10 if it were possible! See...

Food is a lovely combination of Japanese and South American - think sushi rolls with guacamole and Peruvian salad.
There's a veggie/prs atavism slant to the menu with the majority of options having luscious vegetarian options.
Ever so slightly overpriced, but the trendy fashionable night-club vibe goes with the price point.
Set in a trendy area of Berlin it's more Kensington than Hoxton.
Service was amateur. I was bashed all night by waiters squeezing past my seat. I asked to move and the manager said I'd get no service elsewhere... Great.
Being kind I'd say that large tables overwhelmed the staff. Being more harsh I'd say that they were up to burger joint standard but no more. Ouch.
Presentation is high on lighting and low on authenticity.
If you want a Japanese meal don't come here. If you'd like a break from normal/traditional menus with friends, lots of time and some spare cash? This is your place!!
Overall, glad I came but not a destination...
Read moreThe food was ELEGANT, the portions were filling and the fish was FRESH. Their cuisine is well FUSED. I just found the prices a bit higher than they deserve.
We chose this restaurant to celebrate our wedding dinner! :)) but even though the website said to call 2 hours in advance, we called 5-6 hours in advance and they were able to give us a table on the phone. After we arrive there they gave us in the back corner next to the service table. I wish they had said there was no table available when we called. Because we had specified that it was a wedding dinner. We could have gone to another restaurant on this important day for us, if only we had been told on the phone. When we entered the restaurant, the person who made the reservation said rudely that we were able to give you this table because you called late. Reservations need to be taken more...
