Boese Buben Bar Gaststätte — Restaurant in Berlin

Not friendly at all. Stay away.

When three of us went there bartender asked us are we only 3 and when we said that about 5 more people will be coming later he said it’s not acceptable and we should leave. We thought it’s a joke, so we started to look for a table. There are no big tables to potentially fit 5-8 people so we found a corner where there were 4 tables close to each other so we can sit there by 2 and 3 people and if we join couple of them it could be even better. But then bartender came over and said we are not allowed to move tables and big companies are not welcome so we have to leave immediately because it’s not acceptable.

The bar itself is very nice (never ate there so can't review the food) but the staff is not welcoming. We went there on a Saturday evening for drinks. Only a small little table was free and 2 chairs at the bar. The table would have been cosier but they told us that it's taken by someone who went outside to smoke though the table was entirely empty (one couldn't see any glasses or personal belongings around it). Looking around for other free spots the waiter answered in a rude way that he already told us about the only option available. Sitting at the bar we saw very well who came in and when. New guests got the table like 45mins later so we felt discriminated. Not a nice way to treat...

Got together with couple of friends to enjoy a nice afterwork drink. After initially waiting for maybe 10 mins for our drinks the waiter approached us 40 mins later asking if we want something else. Since not all of us finished we said that we’re fine. There he already gave us a weird look. He then came back and handed over the check asking us to leave because other guests were waiting. This is the first time something like this happened to me in Berlin, and I wish no one feels the same. No recommedation at all for this place, I will not go back ever.
