Overall: the food was good, but the staff is unwelcoming and they accept cash-only which is not clear at all until you have to pay.

They didn't have tap water, though in every other place we’ve been in Berlin they have it. They charged 3 euros for a glass of “still water”, served with ice, which seemed to be simply a tap water.

The restaurant was only accepting cash payments, but this wasn't clearly stated anywhere. When we didn't have enough cash, the waiter suggested we go to an ATM in 5 min walk. However, the ATM was out of order, forcing us to walk another 10 min to find another one. The waiter was very unfriendly and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or for not informing us about the...

The food and the atmosphere were nice and the coffee was ok, however we ordered an espresso and a cappuccino and we were charged for another espresso on top of that (the waiter told us they had to make a double espresso shot for the cappuccino but if that was the case that wasn't specified in the menu nor clarified when we ordered, nor was the increase in price). The waiter got rude really quickly when we asked him to correct what we thought was an honest mistake and that made it look like it was intentional. I don't know if it happened to us because we were clearly tourists and didn't speak german or what, but it was kind of...

The worst experience of my life. The waiter (whom is also the owner) treated us really bad, preparing everything superslowly and answering really bad to my girlfriend. To the request of which type of bread we could have ordered, he replied in a bad manner. Also the breakfast was nothing special at all. At the payment moment, He also asked for a tip explicitely. So we didn't tip and we paid the right amount of 18.10 euro. The 10 cents have been thrown down, as a sign of anger. Never again.

Edit: you also call me brainless after I just wrote the reality of the facts. Good luck with your...

We ordered just “espresso” and got double espresso instead that we needed to pay for. The staff said we didn’t emphasize that we want “singe espresso”, even though we didn’t emphasize we want double espresso but we got it. The staff was very unpolite. We also got glasses of water that we paid 3.3 euros each. This is how it works in Berlin - we never saw the bottle, we don’t know if it’s from sink or not. So just go to the market and buy a bottle of water, don’t order it in cafe and overpay it. And btw the taste of the coffee was very disgusting. You can see how cappuccino looks like….

A wonderful little cafe in Central Berlin. We came for brunch and had a lovely meal. The waiter / manager / owner was absolutely the most polite man I've met in Germany. The food and coffee were excellent. We had heard the open pancakes were amazing in Germany and this did not disappoint. We sat outside and had a great time, the inside was also charming looking. Highly recommended.

It is a really nice place to have a breakfast Saturday morning. A big Cappuccino was really big (I liked it), food was tasty. They have different “standard ” breakfasts like eggs with something and also cakes. (Under the eggs in Foto is also bread) And what was really important to me, is I could pay with card (not even a German card!) Highly recommend ;)
