After many years of restauration, the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche is finally accessible again for the public. The church is a museum today, featuring amazing sculptures and historic information about the building. The museum features entry free of charge and shows sculptures on two levels. The building itself is definitely worth a visit, the freshly renovated interior is a masterpiece of architecture and simply beautiful. You need roughly 1-1.5 hours to see all.

One of my favorite buildings in Berlin, if not the world, the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche by Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841) looks better than ever after its recent renovation. Beautiful museum of sculpture with masterpieces such as the famous Princesses Monument by Johann Gottfried Schadow (1764-1850). Also don't miss the great exhibition on Schinkel on the balustrade. Right next to Schinkel's former Bauakademie which will hopefully be reconstructed soon.

One of the oldest architectures of Berlin. The church is beautiful from the outside as well as from the inside as well, you can enter the church in the open hours, you will have to submit your bag and your jacket at the entrance of the Church, you are allowed to take pictures as well, but please maintain silence. the architecture from inside is amazing, lot, many sculptures inside, lot of description if you are interested in.

Friedrichswerdersche Kirche is a hidden gem in Berlin, quietly standing with a dignified presence. The neo-Gothic architecture is striking, especially in how it contrasts with the modern buildings around it. Inside, the serene atmosphere is enhanced by the collection of classical sculptures, giving the church an almost museum-like feel. While not grand in size, the elegance and craftsmanship are evident in every detail. This place offers a moment of calm in the middle of the city, reminding us of Berlin’s rich history and...
