Just as it can be beautiful to see how elegantly a flower has adapted perfectly to its environment, it can be darkly beautiful to see how a business finds a way to fit into the smallest available niche and thrive...Chutney is as small, fast, efficient and standardised as its name. With buckets of Mango Lassi in plastic cups at the ready, all sauces pre-made, meal preparation streamlined and made in seconds, it would be outrageous to expect this to be something which it is not trying to be. What one should expect is a speedy, hearty, vaguely nostalgic tasting meals that you can wolf down before your movie at Delphi Lux or Train out of here. This is slow food made fast and somehow 50% of the time it's kinda awesome...if you squint your eyes and don't look at the bill.

Good place for a rice bowl type of Indian meal. The food is precooked and maintained warm and is plated as per your order. It is budget friendly and the food and portion size are worth the price according to me. The rice, papad, yogurt, coriander and chilli paste are standard with all orders so basically you choose what curry you want to go with it. We ordered the beef curry and the chilli chicken and both tasted good. The beef curry was better to be honest. They also have samosa and different pakoras . The mango lassi was thick and flavourful, so overall it was a good experience for us. It surely is restricted in terms of space but if you are looking for a quick Indian meal on the go then this is a good choice.

Hands down my favourite restaurant / takeaway in the area. We stumbled across this one evening and then ate here four days in a row. The food is absolutely top notch - a collection of curries including chicken, lamb, beef (all Halal) and vegetable, together with rice, poppadoms, bahjis etc and (my absolute face) mango lassi. The guy serving was polite and friendly and, though he must serve hundreds of people each day, he remembered us each day. The seating is comfy and the atmosphere is calm in this bustling area of Berlin. Very highly recommended!

Below average food and service. I had a samosa for take away. Unlike the samosas that I know and love, this one was not closed but it was open and its contents were spilling inside the take away box. It was over spiced and not evenly warmed up. The service was very unfriendly. The guy working there just looked pissed off and did not offer any friendliness. I bought a soft drink and when I uncapped it a piece of the glass broke with the cap. This never happened to me before. Instead of offering me a new bottle the employee blamed me for the glass breaking. I ignored him and exchanged it for a different bottle anyway. Would not go back there or recommend this place to anyone unless they change their attitude and do samosas properly, a basic staple of...

Take this with a grain of salt but this supposedly Indian restaurant has a worker with a strong eastern european accent and ukrainian music blasting on the speakers😂

The location and opening times are a benefit, but you might be surprised by a disoriented homeless guy stumbling in and being escorted out by the annoyed cashier.

The Atmosphere was not very welcoming. The warmed up food and Robotic responses made indian food feel like a prison meal. Go to a place like Zhushu instead.

Taste? Meh. I won't comment about if it's Indian, but it just didn't taste special.

Portion Sizes? They have two and they gave me the bigger one without asking.

Overall? Not recommended, unless you're starving at Midnight and want something else than...
