EINSTEIN KAFFEE Savignyplatz — Restaurant in Berlin

I visited the place in the morning for a quick breakfast. I ordered a blueberry scone and a coffee (americano). The scone was quite good, warm, and not too sweet, but could have a little bit more flavour. The coffee had this unpleasant burnt flavour of overroasted beans/overbrewed espresso. I find it quite disappointing for a coffee place. The service was very nice and the place itself seems good as well, the tables could be a little bit cleaner, though. The bathrooms are incredibly small. It is totally inaccessible for wheelchairs, very hard for fat people, and even small and slim ones would have no other possibility, but sit on the toilet sidewise, because of the trash can mounted on the wall right next to it, so it...

Not bad for a franchise place - not bad at all. It's actually a franchise with a perfect fit for west-Berlin coolishness with a slight air of art-school-grad pretention, but not enough to provoke a mass shooting.

This coffee shop is really well situated, has good coffee, and is actually a nice small room to loiter in on a Sunday with the papers. Big windows from which to watch the world go by, and outdoor seating.

Terrible. I bought two pieces of cake (tastes terrible, we couldn’t eat it) anyways they packed only one.
