kouzina — Restaurant in Berlin

Greek goodness: we recently traveled through Berlin on our way to other destinations. Over three days we enjoyed a number of meals near Savigny Platz but none came close to the utter deliciousness of Kouzina. Tucked in a narrow charming walking street with fabulous people watching, this place celebrates excellent and authentic Greek food. Over two meals, four of us enjoyed the pork gyros, cold appetizer plate (very filling and perfect for a pescatarian), crisp Greek salad, baked salmon with rice and creamy sauce, and chicken skewers with fresh fries and piquant tzatziki. The food was so delicious that we made special plans to return for a meal on our way back through a Berlin.

One of the best Greek restaurants I have ever visited in Germany. Food is authentic Greek, you get the same as you would in Greece. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing with nice Greek music in the background. Staff is friendly and helps with dish suggestions. Overall - a great experience, the staff was quite friendly and polite, the dishes were tasty and quite original, such us the vegetable lasagna we took, for instance. The only downside I could name is the size of the portions - rather small, unfortunately, and the prices are relatively high, but not too high.
