Pretty decent tacos...and especially great tacos considering it's Berlin. I enjoyed two Al Pastor tacos which were traditional with pork meat marinated with dry peppers, served with pineapple sauce in a corn tortilla. The ingredients all tasted very fresh (except the tortilla--but that's expected in Berlin). Al Pastor are some of my favorites in the entire taco cuisine...and these two hit the spot just right. What really blew my mind was the Choriqueso taco which had the guy's house-made chorizo with melted gouda, also served in a corn tortilla. It's really hard to make passable chorizo in Berlin, but his was pretty legit. I think the total came out to about 9€ which seems standard for three tacos in Berlin...but these were some of the best tacos I''ve had in Germany. Perhaps only 4 stars if it were in Mexico or southwest USA, but definitely 5 stars for Berlin which has never figured out good Mexican food. If you're anywhere near Sony Center and craving real tacos, this is your spot. Like, absolutely the spot.

We're always game for real mexican tacos so we went to try the "food truck" that sits inside the Sony Center in Berlin. These tacos from El Amigo Taqueria at Sony Center were to die for. We ordered the Birria (beef), Al Pastor (Pork) and the Bistec (Asada). For me, they were equally as good as the other. We were given free beef conssome soup as well. The aroma of the soft corn tortilla hits you as you take your first bite, which in turn gives you a mouthful of flavors and makes you want to have more. Each has the right amount of spice and condiment that never overwhelms your palate and each meat has its own distinguishable flavor, not just different meats marinated in the same spice blends. We actually had to order another set of Al Pastor (Xiane's favorite) to sate our taste buds. Another 10/10 in my books.

Hey listen! This is a bold claim, but I actually think these guys have the best Birria in Berlin. There’s a certain “funk” that Birria tacos need to have. Most places cook that flavor out of the birria, but these guys walk the line perfectly. I don’t know how to explain this flavor. It’s just a little “funk” that’s a part of the meat, which makes birria tacos taste so delicious. That’s the way they do it in Mexico and most places in Berlin miss that completely. Not these guys! The flavor profile of their birria tacos is flawless. 🙌 They do take a while to prepare your food, but it was worth it. We waited 25 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. 3 tacos for 11 euros is a good deal too!

You got it! Let's dive into the taco tale of a lifetime at El Amigo Taqueria! 🌮🎉 Picture this: you walk into a cozy little spot filled with the savory scent of tacos sizzling on the grill. That's El Amigo for ya!

Alright, let's taco 'bout the grub. These tacos? Pure magic. From the succulent carne asada to the melt-in-your-mouth al pastor, every bite is a flavor explosion! And don't even get me started on the salsa bar – it's a spicy paradise! 💥🌶️

Now, let's talk vibes. El Amigo Taqueria has that chill, come-as-you-are vibe that instantly makes you feel like part of the familia. Whether you're flying solo, rolling deep with your crew, or bringing your abuela along for the ride, you'll feel right at home.

And shoutout to the crew behind the counter – these guys aren't just making tacos, they're crafting edible works of art! Plus, their smiles are as big as their tacos, which makes the whole experience even better. 😊🌮

But wait, there's more! The prices at El Amigo Taqueria are as friendly as the staff. You can load up on tacos, grab a side of guac (because let's be real, who can resist?), and still have some cash left over for a horchata or two.

So, if you're craving some seriously delicious tacos that'll make your taste buds sing, do yourself a favor and swing by El Amigo Taqueria. You won't regret...
