The concept of the art gallery with food created for the theme of the art is a very clever one—5 stars for the concept and liked the exhibit!
The food gets two stars from me, though. Went here for a Thanksgiving-themed private dinner and was disappointed by the taste and stingy portion size for a €40 (!) menu. Apparently fine dining in Berlin means starvation diet. Dishes were served family-style and bowls not really replenished when they were empty. Everything from the green beans to the gravy tasted extremely bland with no perceptible herbs or seasoning except salt (needed more pepper and herbs!)—couldn’t taste the maple crust on the turkey and bright red cranberry sauce was also missing from the table (or I didn’t see it) even though advertised. Sweet potato mash had a vinegary note 😣 instead of a sweet note and no dots of herbs or seasoning visible (needs cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, or even chile). Don’t do a festive dinner if you can’t get good recipes for basics (like cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes) and convey a sense of abundance in the amount of food. Or just stick to cooking recipes you know. Good thing the company at the table...
