Rises Delicacies — Restaurant in Berlin

I recently had the chance to visit Rises, a Greek restaurant, and I have to say that I was quite impressed. The food was of extremely high quality and it had a distinct homemade feel to it.

What stood out to me the most was the restaurant's tasteful decor. Unlike many other Greek restaurants, which can often feel quite touristy, Rises had a charming and authentic feel to it. It feels like you are in Greece.

However, I do have to mention that the prices were a bit on the higher side, which may be a downside for some customers. Additionally, I had some trouble trying to visit the restaurant, as it seemed to be closed during some of my attempts.

Despite these minor issues, I still think that Rises is a great option for anyone looking for high-quality Greek food with a homely feel. I would definitely recommend it to others, particularly those who are interested in trying something a little different from the usual touristy options.

We could complain for eternity how Berlin has gotten too expensive, it’s true. So why not spend the money on real food of high quality? This is indeed rare to find in Berlin at any price point, and Rises Delicacies offers it for a reasonable price, all things considered. Moussaka, tzatziki, spanakopita, natural wine, tsipouro. The food was strikingly fresh, the flavors were delicate and nuanced, the wine and spirits excellent, and tap water is free and plentiful. What more could you ask from a restaurant?? I grew up in Melbourne (Australia) when Greek and Italian immigrants began the transformation of Australian cuisine. Great homemade Greek food was a highlight. I recently had lunch at Rises and, honestly, it is some of the best Greek food that I've eaten... ever! It was such a shock to find genuinely homemade Greek dishes that go back to the roots.
