I recently dined at this restaurant and I must say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. The food, unfortunately, was quite bland and didn't live up to its price. I found it to be overpriced for the quality and taste it offered.
In addition to my previous points, I would like to mention another disappointing incident during my visit to the restaurant. At one point, without any prior notice or consent, the server took away my bread from the table. I was quite surprised and taken aback by this action. It would have been more courteous if the server had asked before removing it. This incident further added to my overall dissatisfaction with the restaurant's service.
Moreover, the atmosphere was quite underwhelming. Despite it being New Year's, there was a complete absence of music or any form of entertainment. The silence in the restaurant made the dining experience feel dull and lifeless.
Overall, I was not satisfied with the restaurant. The lack of flavor in the food and the absence of music on such a festive occasion left me feeling unimpressed. I hope the restaurant takes these feedback into consideration and makes improvements...
Read moreUnderstanding that many restaurants closed for Christmas Eve in Berlin, we were please to have found an Italian restaurant with excellent reviews local to our hotel. We booked a table for Christmas Eve at the end of October and received confirmation of our booking from Sergio. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived to find the restaurant closed! Despite the restaurant having our mobile number and email, they hadn't had the courtesy to inform us they had decided to close. Thankfully our Christmas Eve meal was not ruined as we had a lovely meal at 'Mola' another Italian restaurant nearby who accommodated us (without reservation). I suggest you avoid 'Ill Sorriso' as the management only care about themselves and not their customers and choose to dine at Mola where you will receive a smile with excellent...
Read moreI’m so sorry about all the other opinions, but I’m desagree. 0-10: Bongole: 4, water sauce, not flavor. Tartufo:2 , pasta coocked time...the worst I ever eat, sauce...better not talk about it. Ravioli salmone with sauce caviar salmone and agarosta: 3, bad ingredients, like tetrabrick sauce and I dubt about the time-healthy conditions... Tagliateli gamberi etc: 5, flavor ok, but another time, so many time cooking the pasta. Wine was ok, but 34€ IS crazy for its level. The only plate I enjoyed was smoked salmon with an Orange sauce... Conclusion: “la tagliatela” in Spain is a normal Italian restaurant and it’s so so far away better in level than Sorriso. I will never go again. I’m sorry...
