We heard a lot about this so called restaurant and went there to have our first experience. We were utterly shocked with the unprofessional behaviour of one of the staffs. After placing the order we went to sit on the table which we felt needed cleanup as someone just finished their food on it. So I went to the counter and asked the person to clean it. At first he did not bother to acknowledge and kept working. When I waited there for couple of minutes, I once again asked him politely to get our table clean. To which he unhappily said, you go back I will do it. I did not mind. Not everyone have to be happy while serving!!! Huh!!! I came back and as expected from his behaviour , he did not bother to show up again. I did not say anything. Other person brought the plates to us. To whom I said, we have been waiting to get the table clean. He was surprised to hear it and immediately cleaned the table for us. So far all okay. Here comes the interesting part. The culprit came back this time and started arguing with us instead of apologizing for his mistake. I told him our food is getting cold and I have no interest in arguing with a person who have zero sense how to talk to customers with respect. But he kept arguing again and again to the point that we left the place without tasting a bite of the food. Felt very bad as in a way it is a disrespect to the food. But unfortunately it was the question of self-Respect. It was overall very bad experience just because of one person. First and last certainly. You lost one more customer forever. Simply...

Last time I came here was last year. This time I ate here two days in a row. Berlin food can be a very frustrating experience (for a metropolis this is a bit surprising). This place is a rare exception: very flavorful, great textures (vegetables are not cooked to death) and everything is made to order. I had a vegetarian dish and then the chicken saag. I don’t know how they do it, but the texture of the chicken breast was revelatory. It might have been marinated in coconut milk: it was not dry, yet firm and fully cooked.
The flavors of the spices, the freshly chopped spinach which is used for the saag, the quickly prepared, piping hot and delicious garlic naan. It will be hard if not impossible to find another place like this one in this price range in Berlin.
Don’t waste another meal while visiting Berlin; just stop here and enjoy.
One last thing: dishes are mildly spiced, so if you want more spice you have to ask for it...
Read moreAs an Indian, I absolutely hate the food here. The service and the people running it are terrible too. If you want to get an idea of how real Indian you should not be, this is the place to go. I ordered Palak Paneer and you could see there was less of Spinach and more of cream. You could see huge leaves of spinach which clearly was not grinded. Every main course comes with rice. Now if I don't want to eat rice and want roti instead, this guy will not let you do it so that you are forced pay separately for roti. And the roti here is a frickin Tortilla that he must have bought from a supermarket. They talk rudely, provide no flexibility when ordering and make pathetic Indian food. Many people may like the food here as I can see that from the reviews. But this is not real Indian food in terms of flavor and hospitality! There are far far better places in Berlin one can go to for...
